Autoclaves and grain

Doing a bunch of research in to different autoclave setups.  For those of you lab guys here........

Would a autoclave with a pre-vacuum cycle, shorten the actual sterilization cycle time? 

If a no pressure steam sterlizer runs for an average of 18-20hrs+, our stovetop sterilizers run for 3-4hrs(bags), how long would you run bags in a autoclave with a pre-vacuum cycle.

I wouldn't buy an autoclave with a pre-vacuum cycle because it would cost way, way too much. It's not practical.

I couldn't find any info on cycle times.  Steam has a much higher heat transfer rate then air.  Our jars and bags have air pockets trapped in them.  It's why we have to run long cycle times.  Most materials that are directly in contact with steam, only take an average of 35mins to sterilize.    With a vacuum cycle, we are helping pull out the air pockets.  By pulling a vacuum and then purging with steam, it would only make sense that cycle times would be reduced. 

My question is, does anyone have real data on grain sterilization, in a autoclave with a pre-vacuum cycle? 

No one is going out and buying a 50k autoclave to grow a few cubes haha.    I know most members are here for the fruit bodies, but I love the science just as much.
