Probably from someone making illegal sale to California. When they find them they should be prosecuted. Even better if you have national law banning those mags then much of the problem goes away. State gun control can only do so much. We don’t have customs control at state borders.

Have you ever wondered why people aren’t mowed down with uzis and other machine guns anymore? That used to be the rage back in the 20s and 30s. Then machine guns were banned. You can’t get an uzi in the US legally anymore. the total lack of machine gun based crime also seems to indicate you can’t really get them on the black market ether. The machine gun ban works.  Gun control works.

Vegas dude is literally the only example of a rich successful dude committing a mass shooting. Mass shooters may be smart, come from a rich family, but they themselves are almost always failures at life. Young men who are failing at life. Banning gun ownership and use for anyone under 25 would solve a lot of problems.

You’re right about the culture. The main problem with our culture is that we seem to believe that guns are the only thing keeping democracy alive. Gun ownership should not be an admirable trait. For every problem a gun may help solve, they create ten more. And this Idea that more guns will make us safer is absolutely INSANE. We need to stop elevating guns to god like status.
