People are the problem.

Someone impulsive, uncreative, and sloppy enough to do a drive by with a handgun is not going to go through the trouble of making an explosive.

Your handgun would also not do anything to stop an explosive.

Guns were again not the solution to the problem in your extremely unlikely hypothetical.

You don't know who the person that I suspect.  You weren't there, either.

If it is who I think, they're certainly capable of anything including an explosive.

Guns weren't the problem.  People are.

Okay, keep living with that philosophy if you think it's making your family safer.  I'm sure your gun will protect them...

You should get some grenades to protect yourself

Seriously, you need to reconsider your life choices if you have people drive by shooting at you.

A good guy with a grenade is the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a grenade.

So you know a guy with serious mental issues that has easy access to firearms?

and this makes you less inclined to want stricter gun control?

I don't understand how you came to that conclusion.

Stricter gun control doesn't stop the illegal black market. Do you really think you're going to regulate safety at this point?

Doing things is hard, so let’s do nothing.

Where do you think black market guns come from? They all started as legal guns.

oh come on koods do u really think it matters if they were once legal? the fact is dirty guns are everywhere and ur never gonna get people to just give them up ever and ur just as likely to take them from the cold dead hands people especially without using guns :puppylaugh:

The black market exists because legal gun owners are not responsible with their weapons.

After Herb dies in a drive by his legal gun will probably end up on the black market.

the black market exists because criminals want guns really bad n theyll pay mad money or smuggle or steal them no matter what laws say.

no im for sensible gun laws California is redic. the point ive said since like the second post in this thread was that the laws didnt help prevent this and do very little more than just cripple the ability for law abiding citizens to own and carry fire arm while at the same time promoting and irrational fear of fire arms that i see as quite dangerous.
