I will also add that I used condoms. And I also had 2 tests in 6 months for HIV before having unprotected sex with my now husband (and he did too).I was very safe most of the time. I was unsafe with a few people a long time ago and consider myself VERY lucky to be clear of any STD's. I haven't been with anyone else since I've been married and don't plan on it. As far as "hooking up" just for sex for the fun of it, Go for it, but be very careful and use condoms. I place no judgement on frivolous sex just for the joy of sex. For those who do (place judgement self righteously), have fun with that.

Straight from the mouth of Joseph Stalin. Debate and civil argument is only seen as antagonistic when you consistently and immediately attempt to prompt it as such. Topics sometimes overlap depending on the circumstance. Ultimately I chose The Pub in that particular instance as it was created, originally, to simply share a YouTube video but a debate sparked shortly after. Moving the thread seems a far more appropriate reaction than outright closing it.

I do admit, I should have moved it to the Political forum far earlier, due to the subject being political and the agreement having been made between the staff to move Political threads from the Pub.

Then why not reopen it and move it? I find the ideologies and the subsequent visions of James Mason and Charles Manson to be a fascinating area of discussion which also, purely based on the tone of the subject matter, deserves as much rigorous mental pulling-apart as one can muster. Ideas like that should only be adopted with reluctance, in my opinion, even if they prove necessary.

You killed a discussion which I felt was leading up to something very meaty and potentially important.
