Hard to say but I put a vote in for gymnopus sp.

Maybe Gymnopus but I'll say it's too dry to tell for sure. Maybe Marasmius?

We might get a better possibility if fresh ones are found.

Gymnopus dryophilus is a strong possibility not sure if I spelled that right but I found a good patch of them any way you can tell me what kind of pine that is from it’s leaf litter I’m curious, because I notice this makes for a good climate for mushlife, I wish I could it’s very dry in all the places I’ve been checking can’t seem to find anything with life around lol unless it’s dead in the woods

I agree.

I have seen very little of this usually extremely prolific fruiter this year. Certain species in
my region have had a setback this season, while others have thrived and delivered.

Thank you for saying marasmius it hasn’t a certain look I’ve desired from another genus. I’m shocked to see how many have that 👀,
