Seems like my jar won't fully colonize
    #25560130 -

Hey, first time grower, long time psychedelica fan.

Been trying to grow my first batch now and everything seems to go swimmingly. Well exept for the fact that the mycelium seems to have stopped colonizing in one certain area. Kind of like a dry spot..

The jar is 18 days old at this point, should i give it more time or just try to birth it asap?

Whats your take on this?

Here is a pic

I say observe it carefully over the next couple days.  It there is no growth into dry spot, fuck it.  Birth it and remove the uncolonized medium.

:whathesaid: tho the puffy AF morphology of the leading myc indicates it won't be colonizing anytime soon. I'd personally either wash the shit off and birth it now or wait for it to pin in the jar, wash the sub off and birth.
