Natural Vermiculite Substitutein a tropical jungle far away from cities
    #25554775 -

Hello, has the title say , Vermicuculite is not possible to buy where i live in Central America.
I live in a tropical island very very very far away from a supermarket and hardware stores...
Here is a list of what material i can find: coconut fiber, straw, lake sand very fine and not salty, clay ( red clay, yellow clay white clay find natural in site ), any kind of organic material, Compost from my compost toilet, Rice skull or Rice shells, worms poo ( californiam compost worms poo )
what can i use ? which mix? thanks in advance....

For cubes, pasteurized straw works great.  If the coconut fiber is processed and salt-free, give it a try.  Verm isn’t needed.
