The ones that make the little spark inside and make a bunch of noise when you pull the trigger. It’s literally just a little housing around the trigger with some gears and a circular flint, and a lever hitting the housing to make the sound.

You stole this from someone in another thread.

but a hack? hmm...

if your electricity goes out, boil hot water

Bill,
Actually I learned it from Sara Underwood on "Attack of the Show".

As for the boiling water I have no idea what you are talking about.

well thats a coincidence because somebody said that a couple days ago on here

and if you boil water and your house is cold, it will warm it right up

Something there is mysteriously formed,
Existing before Heaven and Earth,
Silent, still, standing alone, unchanging,
All-pervading, unfailing,
I do not know its name; I call it tao.
If forced to give it a name, I call it
Great (ta). Being great, it flows out;
Flowing out means far-reaching;
Being far-reaching, it is said to return.

It's just a shot away..

If you live in the US, you can preview what mail you'll be getting today, for free. It's useful if you want to verify that nothing is misdelivered, or make sure your roommates aren't stealing your mail, or if you have to decide whether it's worth driving to a P.O. box. You can sign up right here and start seeing scans of the exterior of your mail immediately. It only works for letter-sized, automatically sorted mail - not packages. But you can also track packages and report missing mail from the same page.

And for Asante, not to worry, I hear PostNL recently added the same functionality to their app.

Not the greatest tip but I still think it pwns this thread on account of all the other mediocre suggestions. :smirk:

If someone really deserves it, you can open up their water main at the meter and put a sack of marbles in the pipe before closing it back up and turning it on.  They'll travel through when the water is in use until they hit a pipe too small to take them.  It's a real bitch tracking 'em down and getting 'em out.

You can (probably shouldn’t tho) smoke a vape pen in the airplane bathroom without setting off the smoke alarm.

All you have to do is time your exhale with the toilet flush.  Airplane toilets use more than just gravity and they actually suck your shit and piss down.  The smoke disappears in a fraction of a second it’s so strong.

Some airplane sink drains also use this same suction.  Others just rely on gravity.

Spark gap transmitters can trigger/change traffic lights and the wireless traffic light networks are also usually unencrypted. :smile:

Don't store opium in ziplock or airtight stuff like jars as bacteria will grow on it and makes it poisonous.

If someone really deserves it. You can shoot their condenser with a BB gun. The coil will be badly damaged and they will be forced to replace it. they will also be without central air until it is replaced.

Dont fuck with an HVAC tech.

a lot of commercial gates with automatic openers can be opened by downloading an app that simulates a fire truck's siren and playing the sound over your phone near the gate system.

(many gates on commercial properties have an audio receiver tuned to the firetruck's siren that triggers the open cycle for emergency responders)
