Diversity should'nt be strived for, it should come naturally.  We take things out ov nature and put them in zoos so people can gawk over the spectacle, but they are in cages after all.  Be oneself.  I am not a token for you to use and feed on the pop-corn.  Individuality burns through labels with soular shine to illume the path ov nature.

Alloys are stronger than pure metals, diverse ecosystems are healthier than monoculture ones.

This is the problem.

I have a diverse set of friends but it's because I'm friends with people that happen to be whatever. Not because statistically I should have more Sri Lankan friends or something.

It blows my mind how anyone can see reverence for the individual as hate for the demographic. You are silly.

At my work, we needed a new conservationist, and there was this conservationist who was very experienced, worked at numerous other museums, had a perfect track record for decades, and was a respectable white guy. And then there was a black girl who was straihght out of college, and was the first black female in her state to major in anthropology or something like that. No experience whatsoever.

Guess who got hired? Lol

The shit is a definitely a bit of a stain on our workforce and its efficiency. It obviously would be immeasurably more efficient if applicants were judged on their skill and experience rather than looks and background. But it is what it is. It's for sure provisional. Culture changes real quick. In 10 years, this type of practice will be slowing down heavy, and in 20 it'll be all but gone. Mark my words.

At times, yes, of course. If I go to a strip club I don't wanna see some hairy dude poledancing. If I take my motorbike into the shop, I wanna talk to a male mechanic.

I get that it's the fashion to be ultra-liberal to the point of stupidity these days, and to want everything and complain about everything that isn't the way you want it to be, but I think it's rather silly to do so.
