Little pools of condensation water on the sub

Hi all,
Do I need to address the little pools of condensation water that form along the edges of the tub? It's basically condensation water that drips drips down.
Instinctively I like to get rid of it. I tried sucking it up with paper towel, but I don't like the idea of touching the myc. I dont want to ruin the pinning potential...
How do you guys address this when it happens?

Try and increase your FAE slightly to increase the evaporation

You can soak puddles up gently with a paper towel,  or draw it off with a syringe or medicine dropper ... sounds like you're over feild capacity with prep, increased FAE should help... don't be afraid to handle the substrate, if it's healthy, it can withstand quite a bit of harassment

Drawing it off with a syringe is a good one :smile:. I am going to try that... I don't know why this tub has this problem and others don't. Sometimes the condensation droplets stay's in a fine, mist like form. Sometimes not and it drips down... Thanks for the advice!

I just use the corner of a paper towel and soak that shit up. Like Caps said, the sub, as long as its fully colonized, can take a beating. I've flipped my subs in and out of shoe boxes and monos quite a bit for harvesting and shit and no issues whatsoever. Just be careful if you choose to take it out, I've snapped a few shoebox subs lmao. More inconvenient than anything else.

Over feild capacity, perhaps the bottom of a bucket that was slightly overhydrated and only exhibited in the last tub spawned
