But it really isn't any more speculation than the speculation that you were born on your birthday. Do you remember being born? Did you see it happen? Are you sure that your parents had sex? Is anything even believable then?

Yeah, just checked out that link.. there isn't some consensus among scientists that the theory of evolution should be rejected.. what kind of nonsense is that? Reality and life doesn't make much sense without evolution. Everything is a product of evolution, everything is constantly evolving. From our perspective things are very old, the universe is a constantly branching tree, growing into new and self-similar forms.

It's an idea that loosely describes that processes that have lead to the different forms of life here on Earth. We don't have all the answers, we're still looking for them, but there is enough evidence to paint a decently accurate picture of the processes that drive our world.

The key to beginning to understand the overwhelming evidence of evolution is to study
the nature of self-replicating molecules and the power of natural selection.

If you don't study the evidence whales are descendants of land animals, you'd prefer to not understand.

This subject gives me goosebumps.

We could throw out all the science text books, forget everything and start this whole thing over, and we would get the same answers.

I'm not claiming to have figured anything out, I just thought I had a correct understanding of how science is supposed to work. I learned about it all my life, alongside creationist ideas. Obviously one beat out the other. I guess I could just be stupid though.

In all that nonsense I didn't see any credible alternative explanation. I don't believe in evolution because someone shoved it down my throat in school. It is a self evident fact of every natural system I have engaged be it economic, sociologic, or biologic.

Fucking exactly. It's undeniably evident in everything, some people are so blind to it. People really have trouble seeing the bigger picture, an existence beyond themselves and their opinions. Gosh. I'm really baked right now.

AS science has its limitation like carbon dating's limitations

The Bible is Pretty much consistent.
There has been no cross-breeding between the two kingdom.
Just like the flat earth theory.
That long old Piltdown man hoax should be burned to ashes.

Scriptutes are consitent that HE madE man in thy image. lastly thousand of years to millions yrs after the animal kindom. No futher to evolve.

Darwin’s theory of evolution has nothing to do with the origin of life. It makes no scientific claim on that subject. No reputable biologist would make this mistake. What an absurd article.

It seems like a lot of this anti-evolution stuff will focus on Darwin and "Darwin's theory of evolution". It is to be expected that Darwin got some things wrong (e.g. gradualism) and did not have all the answers. He was only human, plus it was the fucking 1800s. But he is framed as this source of scientific dogma by people who think in terms of religious dogma. If you're going to argue against evolution, naming the 1800s version as your opponent seems like a bit of a straw man tactic.
