Beautiful flowers Kris!

Last year I crossed WBF Solar Flare as the mother and gold medal as the father. I'm growing out the seed I collected this year and hoping for a nice looking plant with a little more yellow than the solar flare.

I bought this plant at a flea market last winter. The lady said it is the plant that Jesus’ crown of thorns was made from. Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t, I don’t even know the name of this plant. I like it, I think it will really be an attractive plant when it get bigger and I put it in a clay pot. To me it just looks like something that would appreciate soil on the dry side, but it’s had a lot of water this summer and has done well.
