ID Request - Melbourne P. Sub I think
    #25213696 -

Habitat:
I found these in SE suburbs of Melbourne, Vic on a patch of old tan bark without tree cover but close by trees included pine.

Stem:
The stems are thick and tough, white but bruised blue quite quickly.  Even the gills look blue now.  All in the same spot at various stages of growth.  Before picking the tips looked golden brown in colour.

Spore print color:
Forthcoming but have a strong feeling these are blueys..?

The other irangey mushrooms on top an on the stem were abundant but seem quite Sus to me.  Saw lots of other brown mushrooms that were similar to my blueys, but did not bruise and the stems were hollow.

thanks for your replies.

Interestingly, i went back and found a couple of newly grown blueys, however i also found some very similar looking mushrooms that don't bruise blue, growing in the same mulch patch.  (hoping pictures attach).  What do you think of these ?

They look like Subs to me, just confirm with blue bruising on everything you pick.
