Would you rather learn hard or soft martial arts? * 2
    #25222454 -

I learned hard first but I didn't understand it.  I learned soft smoking a whack of good ganja.  Then I got the hard vibe on methamphetamine and really got it.  I guess it doesn't matter which you learn first.  It's important to know both!  Peace.

Also, for me martial arts became a shroomy thing.  It really came together on shrooms.

I have been losing my ferocious edge.  I want to spend three years meditating in a cave.  Take LSD trips!

Been crippled for 7 years!  I really want to train again.  I practice slow tai chi a few minutes every day which is my limit.  I have been watching the Cobra Kai/Karate Kid series on youtube red and I've been watching karate on youtube.

Meditation is an art, in a way.  I don't know if someone would call it an art.  The tradition is to meditate for 3 years, 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days in a cave or hut.  I learned it watching the Tibetan Buddhist documentary.  It's called going "on retreat."  You do a lot of fasting.  I am a Christian and Buddhist.  Peace.

Did you take my advice and get some lessons from amanita? Offer enough money and he will show you what you are doing wrong.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)

I just developed my grand theory on bullying, aggression and ferocity!  A lot of martial artists are essentially ferocious and become aggressive bullies.  I'm all about getting stoned and being layback.  I want to learn the Gracie jiu-jitsu and add a lot of locking and choking into my method.  They have a great philosophy on aggression and bullies.  Bullying is practically the worst thing there is.

By soft do you mean minimal movements and mainly counters?

It's a long story.  Karate is a good example of a hard style.  Tai chi is a good example of a soft style.  I learned hard/soft silat mixed with escrima almost 24 years ago now!  I've been into tai chi for almost a decade.
Gracie jui-jitsu has a lot of unique stuff for surviving going to the ground.  I'm not a fan of MMA.  I can't watch it any more.  I always turn it off.

I hate pornography now, too.  I always turn it off.  I am going to marry a lady with extensive martial arts experience.  She doesn't fuck around!

I was ferocious before I learned tai chi.  I once yelled at my dad for asking me a question about martial arts.  Once I roughed up my buddy because he didn't get me the rent on time.  Once I fucked a guy up and left him on the street.  Learn your tai chi!
