Why do you make bad decisions?
    #25099960 -

I think most of mine are addiction based.

What about yours?

--------------------
Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

Yes.
Doing the same thing expecting a different result.
Impulsivity.
Lack of awareness.
Titties.
Propensity to anger.
Lack of discipline.
and, cause I want too!!

You been killing it on the threads lately!

I've never done anything I regret sober.

I've never done anything I regret full stop.

I have, however, fucked up as many times as I've had hot dinners. Probably more.

Why you take away avatar unam?

Make it come back.

I find myself making fewer bad decisions these days, but when I do it's typically due to ignorance, lacking a full understanding of the situation, and sometimes being in a hurry for no good reason.

Because I got high ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I suppose some of the only bad decisions I make are not putting enough into the relationships of those around me. Whether parents or friends. I'd just rather spend my evenings doing my thing and getting baked currently. Working on finding a more appropriate balance because those people around you won't be there forever!

Sometimes I make bad decisions because I decided beforehand that the risk of making that bad decision was worth the reward. Other times, I make bad decisions because I cannot summon the energy required to make the right one.

Most of my bad decisions are procrastination based (inaction where I should have taken some action). I'm not very impulsive and I'm generally pretty good at not allowing other people to bait me into losing my cool.

I am willing to pay the future cost of my bad decisions in exchange for the immediate pleasures of the present; ergo, bad decisions are made.

Bad decisions for me are procrastination and not caring enough about important things.

I'm getting better at it though.

STRESS.    Which leads to addiction which leads to making bad decisions based on addictions.

Another reason for me. It seems when I get everything to be going right I get this feeling inside of me like I’m too “good” my life is too “straight” and too “clean” and I have to have an element of danger or darkness or excitement in it...  example, today I realized I’m pretty much in at my new job I was given a ton of hours and realized the money I’d be making and even though I know I need to save to and just follow my current boring and safe routine I wanted so badly to just go straight to the bar after work n blow money and talk shit with people

I’m fantasizing about just rolling one up and smoking some pot (quit months ago) because I feel I deserve it and I just want one guilty pleasure in my life. My luck I’d do it n get drug tested next day but yeah.  A lot of my bad choices are rooted in that feeling of needing to not be or feel like I’m doing every little thing right. It sounds fucking insane and retarded but it is what it is. It’s like if my life was a house I get the biggest god damn thrill of lighting part of it on fire from time to time.

Maybe I should talk to someone about this. Lol

Generally when I am frustrated and self destructive. Have been doing better on focusing on my locus of control and rolling with the minor punches.

I'll be the knee in the rib of the kid who said I wouldn't do what I did
I take that back because my life's become a knife to cut him slack
While most did not care, I welcomed back Kotter
And shot up like a flare of hot air from ground water
Halfway there means back to square one
So if Luck be a Lady I'm'a get her hair done
It seems as if I can't win for losing, choosing
Dos and do nots is like the tie in double shoe-knots
You've got to pull some strings and hope the knot shakes
Maybe Special K or Ozone can give me a break
I don't want to get locked down in the bad decision prison of the living dead
Rotting with the vision in my head
Of laughing at the man who spends yens on trends
I'll lend tens to friends trapped in dead ends
But if rapping doesn't happen it's no biggy
I'll just find another door to open and say "hello" like Squiggy

I make bad decisions because I fear that I am not interesting enough to people and need good stories to tell of redemption and fear

Same. I mean I drink on occasion and I get drunk but never miss work or show up late for it. I’m pretty far past doing things that are planned or without considering the impact.

But in the past it’s been my mind and curiosity. I was the one who made bottle bombs that ruined my friends yard and his mother burnt herself trying to clean them up, I was 13 then. Tried to make nitroglycerin at 16 with household ingredients at a friends house. Had a run away nitration in his bedroom that started boiling and spewing nitric oxide. Then there’s a bunch of failed rockets, almost burning down a friend shed with a salute strapped to a bottle full of homemade napalm, various fires. I got caught with bomb making instructions in 4th grade from the anarchist cookbook, this was ‘98 and my teacher knew I liked science so I got a long lecture rather then arrested.

But yeah seems boredom coupled with my mind when I was young and didn’t realize the repression’s of my behavior was what caused most of my issues. Granted none were that bad and I was only arrested for one thing related, when I was like 12 my older brother and I bought an assload of sparklers and tried to burn a portipotty down. That’s kinda related I suppose lol

Dear Kratom,

I've been numb for so long that I forgot how to feel
So I don't care if it will break my heart,
Just fuck me till I disappear
