New solution for Trumpsters who insist on a wall,
they can now pay for it out of their own pockets.  :brilliant:
https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/422197-gofundme-raises-more-than-1-million-for-trumps-border-wall
Quote:
A GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $1 million for President Trump's proposed border wall as of Wednesday night.

The founder of the fundraising effort, Brian Kolfage wrote on the page that he believes
"it's up to Americans to help out and pitch in to get this project rolling."

Kolfage, who is a triple amputee and Purple Heart recipient, according to the page, said he launched the GoFundMe
shortly after a New York Post opinions article last week posed the question, "Why hasn't someone made a GoFundMe for Trump's wall?"

As of Wednesday, the campaign had received donations from 22, 448 people in two days to a total of $1,344,747, at the time of publication.

“If the 63 million people who voted for Trump each pledge $80, we can build the wall,” the page reads. "That equates to roughly 5Billion Dollars, even if we get half, that's half the wall. We can do this."...

So far they can afford a truck full of these.

This is how Trump and his base works. Just shout catch phrases and memes as though they are equivalent to facts, logic, and reasoned debate.

Can you imagine how those funds would be spent if they were actually raised? I'd imagine some of it would go to a wall, but.. Jesus Christ, it's concerning enough what governments do with big budgets now.

I really do high suspect Trump have personal motives for building the wall; I'm sure there's a profit incentive in there for him. He's a grifter, a con artist, and he works in the building industry. If we can't trust him to build a condo without skimming money off the top why would we trust him to build a multi billion dollar wall? He literally just tried to "compromise" the other day by requesting a $1 billion dollar slush fund "for the wall."

Why don't we pay the illegals to build the wall? That should cut costs tremendously.

Great idea. And Trump can use his own money to match the gofund account. It would be only fair :yesnod:

Trump should have an Army Corps type recruiting for U.S. Citizens to build the wall voluntarily. Makes total sense.

Let's start a GofundMe for XUL to personally build the wall. I'll put in $.80.

Why do think I’m a “leftist”?  I challenge you to quote one leftist thing I have ever said or promoted on here.  Either way, doesn’t change the fact that you wouldn’t.  :shrug2:
