My quality of sleep has so much improved since I introduced a 3" thick memory foam topper upon my HR-foam mattress, its completely awesome.

As you know I am very obese (164kg/360lbs) so its next to impossible to get a good nights sleep on a regular mattress.

Even if you're sumo sized it distrubutes the weight real well, it prevents pressure points.

If given the choice though, get a mattress with the memory foam integrated into it because its most convenient.

Memory foam must be at least 3" thick to be effective in cushioning your weight.

I use to work for this furniture company that acted as a middle man. We had all sorts of shit come and go. Along with returns.

Memory foam mattresses came back ALL THE TIME. People were complaining about them constantly. They wear out really fast.

They had warranties. They were switching them out every couple years. They weren't the cheap ones either.

We picked up a relatively cheap queen mattress from IKEA ($225 I think) and have a separate 2-3 inch foam topper on top. Very comfy for both of us.
