Well... guess the gift card covered the cover... so to speak...

So... yeah... $409... regularly $499... still worth it in my book.

Fucking love it.

Will post some dry pics. Can't right now.

But, yeah!

Edit: got that steevo! Thanx bro!

Similar to the one I use. Mine works better packed full, put everything in insulated bags to minimize temp swings that cause condensation and open it as little as possible. I refrigerate my dishes upside down, it seems to help with the condensation that does happen because of the minor temp swing

Dont use for colonizing plates just for storing cultures.

:whathesaid:

You will want to keep an eye on your cultures at first, or put some test ones in it until you get the temp dialed in.
I've found mini fridges to be tricky,
I've had plates in one spot freeze and others fill up with condensation to the point they weren't usable.
Took a bit of fooling around until I found the right setting

Thanks for the pointer brothers.
Im gonna try some empty dishes at 1st since upper part is freezing.

Damn bro, you in the tropics? 86 is some hot as shit, I couldn't sleep in that.

Spot on mad. Im sweating like a pig doin agar work. :mad2: Moving my sab in ac bedroom for better comfort.

As long u have a clean culture or without bad cooties and it doesn't get over 100f° your dishes are fine.
Cubes are trop/sub tropical, lower temps are beneficial for the myc cause it moves faster than bacteria at those temps.

Thanks man. I guess ill get hollowed center fruits from this temp 86-90f temp.
For agar isolation, im using some insulated box with ice to keep them at 68-75f.

Planning to buy stc-1000 + mini cooler for agar and grain colonization

Any suggestion for a 68-75f chamber?

This is my new 3L scalpel handle, 8.5 inches long. They also make a 4L which is basically the same, just different grip texture.

Picked up one eBay. Both the 3L and 4L are under $5 shipped.

Here is link for 3L, or you can search eBay.

EDIT
Here is a pic of it next to a normal 3 handle as well as a 7. This thing is rather comfortable to hold. I will have to grind the tip down slightly to get blades to fit all the way on. I had to do this with my normal 3 handle as well. They left nose just a bit long and the blade wont slide all the way back and pop down, easy fix.
