im nto sure if that poem is only a canadian thing or not.

anyway, the feild were the WW2 soldiers were buried, poppies grow liek crazy in this whole area. and never did before the dead were buried.

my question is just for curiousitys sake, what kinds of papavers actually grow there.

Unless you want too simply appreciate the beauty and the tragic sense of wasted human lives that is inherient there.

Bright summer days and field upon field of vibrant red flashing by on either side.

The small sleepy little towns where thousands of people died to secure a barn or a cross roads.

You often envision areas such as this through the eyes of a big budget
movie maker. Picturing a huge dramatic back drop populated with a cast of thousands.

In real terms it was normally a mucky two acre field with one solitary tree used as a sight target.
