@Fal

I'm on mobile or I'd quote but yes I think it's important the emails were leaked but that doesn't make it right or mean the leaker did nothing wrong. It would also be one thing if an independent journalist leaked them for transparency as well, it's another if a politician did so for selfish reasons and personal gain. To put it another way there's plenty of people I would be happy to see murdered in the street for their wrong doings but that doesn't mean the murderer did not commit a crime and should not be punished accordingly.

'She breaking up'!

The Liar-in-chief is now calling Flynn a liar.

This means Flynn has something VERY bad on his old boss.

Are you ready to bet your signature that this is yet another nothing burger?  How many times now have we been told "get ready for the shit to hit the fan" and it NEVER has.

Every week, the news is always "something big might happen regarding Russia collaboration", rather than "something big actually happened regarding Russia collaboration".

I'll take that bet.  Let's come up with some good terms.  :stoned:

Terms are already set with the moderator back in July

Ok, a signature bet.

How about the loser's signature has to say "I am stupid for thinking Trump would (or would not) be ousted by 31 August 2018."

Signature must visibly include this through the end of 2018.  Serious health issues or death don't count for this bet.

Deal?

I don't know what the terms of any July bet were.  Can you provide a link or restate them for me?

Do you mean the March bet?

Sweeper?  What terms would you like?

Anyone else want to get in on this bet (on either side)?

Oops. So much for the dossier being the reason the FBI opened an investigation into the trump campaign. Turns out a papadapoulos had a big mouth and told an  Australian diplomat that Russia had Clinton's documents. The Australian government then contacted the FBI.

Why is this news worthy?  We already know about the dossier and we already know about Papadopoulos.

This reveals nothing new at all, unless the FBI claimed they opened the Trump-Russia investigation because of the dossier, in which case it shows the FBI lied about that, but that's all this would reveal.

The news is that popa told a russian diplimat who then told the FBI. I did not know that yesterday, did you? If not then how is that not news? It's new information [to me], that makes it news.

First of all, as we've discussed before, Papadopoulos is "a nobody who tried to make a name for himself by getting dirt on Hillary, but never got anywhere with that."

But more importantly, he didn't tell "a Russian diplomat who then told the FBI".  He told an Australian diplomat that he thought Russia had dirt on Hillary, who told the FBI.  How does that change anything regarding Russia collusion?

granted, it seems typical for a fiancee to do so, but the soon-to-be mrs papadop says that her man was anything but a "coffee boy" as has been insinuated by the trump team (and repeated here)...nor was he a "nobody who tried to make a name for himself by getting dirt on Hillary", according to her.

to answer your last question, it doesn't change a thing wrt the alleged russia collusion (and nobody intimated that it did, right?).

You're right - it is typical for a fiancée to believe her husband is someone special.

According to your own story, "She said he was in touch by email with Steve Bannon, Michael Flynn, and other top campaign officials."

Sorry, exchanging EMAILS with people who were BELOW Trump is pretty much a "coffee boy".

Quote:
Even though many Trump insiders have sought to dismiss Papadopoulos, who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, as an unimportant self-aggrandizer there is now evidence that he “stayed influential throughout the campaign.” Exhibit one of this influence? He helped arrange a meeting between Turmp and Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. He also pursued a clear effort to arrange a meeting with Russian representatives, and edited the outline of Trump’s foreign policy speech in April.
