Michael Flynn is now a convicted felon for his trump campaign related activities concerning Russia.

Trump may be in bigger trouble than I thought. I actually thought Flynn might be the biggest fish. But clearly this goes higher. Impeachment chances just went through the roof - there is a clear path to obstruction of justice. When your deal to cooperate includes pleading to a felony, you know there are serious PROVABLE crimes involved.

Flynn has promised Special Counsel 'full cooperation' in Russia probe

I agree it's not helping anyone to brag that you are right (I forgot about the actual headline of this post). At this point we need to accomplish 3 major things in my opinion. Remove trump and his cronies from office, hopefully every corrupt POS he's appointed as well (not really counting on all of that though), enact legislation to ensure a similar coup does not happen again, and disillusion 30% of the country.

The first two are fairly straight forward, but they to some degree rely on the last one. This shouldn't be a 'look I told you so,' it should be a, 'look, here are the facts, please read this and take it to heart.' That 30%, although we may disagree with them, are not the enemy. We don't want enemies, that doesn't benefit anyone. We need to make them realize it too. We need to make it as easy as possible for them to swallow their pride and come back to reality, that's easiest to do if no one has to consider pride or egos to begin with.

Flynn was always going down, but its pretty clear to see he struck a deal, being that he only pled guilty to one felony when Mueller couldve had him on dozens of charges.

We'll know more in a few months when Flynn is sentenced, but its pretty obvious to anyone that he rolled on somebody.

I get that but how does mocking them back help you? It only hurts them, which in turns hurts you if only because it creates more animosity, more tribalism, more cognitive dissonance to facts. I wouldn't feel bad for them either. A whole part of their justification is that they believe they are the 'victim,' the more we perpetuate that belief, perpetuate a divide, the more we perpetuate the problems in this country. Trump didn't get elected in a vacuum and removing him from office only solves a symptom of the issue, we need to remedy the cause.

I don't really have respect for them either, but I mean we need to solve this problem. There are three main ways, we enlighten them to reality and facts, probably the easiest and most approachable at present, we somehow ban them/split them into a separate, racist, nation founded on ignorance, or we kill them. If we can't do the former then we need to figure out how to do the later, but seeing as it's not simply 'the north vs south' the 2nd option isn't very viable and an all out war is always a last resort. Also if we did go to war we have to completely destroy them and everyone who thinks like them or they will retreat and grow stronger like any other pathogen and when has that ever happened in history? You almost always have small pockets that survive.
