Trouble with this polypore from Tejas
    #24790625 -


Habitat:
In mixed woods of pine, maple and oaks. this dead hardwood is not pine. it was chopped down and left. Found in Addicks Reservoir near Houston, Texas.

Gills:
white, fine/dense pores that DO NOT discolor upon abrasion

Stem:
shelf habit

Cap:
fibrous and rubbery. brown, grey to white. .5-6 INCH wide and .25 INCH thick.

Spore print color:
Not sure how to spore print self fungi. i tried it once before and nothing happened. I will add in the morning if it worked.

Bruising:
None

From the guide provided, I’ve narrowed it to three in this order

Fomitopsis Spraguei

Bjerkandera fumosa

Perenniporia Robiniophila

HONORABLE MENTION:
Some kind of antrodia sp. ?
