I guess my point is that alcohol seems really random to me. Weed is like a part of the human experience, is grounding, is intrinsic and is like a basic staple of life and the kind of baseline to it all so I could at least understand why someone would state that it should be someone's first or could be... Alcohol on the otherhand is extremely fucking random, just a kind of weird depressant at the end of the day; nothing too special and nothing too bad.

I just think there are states of mind such as MDMA and Mushrooms that are easily more favored and sought after by most people than something like alcohol intoxication. I mean at the end of the day more people are going to like MDMA and Mushrooms better than alcohol anyways so why should the majority even start with booze? The only "reason" its common and tried first is just because it's culturally accepted and ingrained not because it's the most favorable drug state lol.

I don't know about you but Alcohol isn't a drug I just go around recommending to people  so I especially see no reason why I would for some reason "recommend" it to a first timer.

I'd say DXM is a good first drug.

it contains bits and pieces of all different kinds of drug effects

its a littlebitta stim
a littlebit downer
a little psych
a little dissociative

it gives a good example for further drug experiences

my friends first drug was salvia at the age of 9.

How young of a person are we talking for a first time user of said drug?

Either way, a heroic dose of cubensis mushrooms, or equivalent, sounds like a good start to me.

Go ahead and dissolve that ego and see your self for what you really are, an animal, which is part of a much larger ecosystem, within this massive space we call universe. Then, decide if you want to try other substances.

Ayahuasca would be my second choice, but they already do that at a pretty young age, like breastfeeding young. They put aya on the nipples during feeding, so there's that.

Well, I don't know what to tell ya..all I can say is I've done plenty of DMT and I've seen plenty of first timers use the stuff since I was usually the supplier and I've never seen people react so surprised by what they experienced using a specific drug for the first time compared to how anyone has acted trying alcohol for their first drug experience in general. I just feel like being a little buzzed from alcohol is more of a baby step in altering your state of mind than using a psychedelic that even a lot of experienced trippers still get sweaty palms around before smoking. Psychedelic users have a tendency to be so pro-psychedelics that they ignore the mental ramifications due to how physically benign they tend to be.

Mm I don't know. I guess maybe like 17 - 35 years old. Doesn't really matter though. Maybe older or even younger.

:lol: Lol I agree. At least with the second part about how I think it's important someone has a psychedelic experience of some sort before they decide if they want to try other drugs. I think people should be started on the "right note" if you know what I mean.

Ok but that's not happening right now.

I don't see why you need "baby steps" before psychedelics because everything is a baby step compared to them.

Honestly I'd have to know the person to be able to tell you. Some people you can just tell whether a drug is going to agree with them or not based on how they behave while sober. Someone with anxiety for example, I'd stay away from all psychedelics and stimulants. I'd probably give them an indica. Maybe a mild opiate like vicodin, but that's iffy... Too many people fall into the opiate pit with ease. But one thing is for sure, they're not going to panic when the high sets in.

Meh. I've heard that some of that stuff was brought by westerners. Though, I've also heard, that in history, aya was used for much different reasons. Spiritual warfare and such. Some shaman put datura in their brew, so there's that.
