I'm 50% curious, 50% fishing for new things to do. I have nothing to do anymore!!!
I used to spin, but I can't have my tables in my dorm. Not enough room.
I used to play Airsoft, but then ALL MY SHIT BROKE at the same time, and it's disheartening. Airsoft is like paintball, but with BBs, if you don't know.
I USED to be big time into computers, but they are rapidly losing all value to me.
I have got to find something to do.
What are some of your hobbies? I'd especially like to hear Shroomery member hobbies. I'm sure they're interesting.

Riding my street bike too fast, driving/working on hot rods, wake boarding, boating, snow boarding, R/C Stuff, baseball (not playing just going to the cage), golf, fishing, camping, and making money. Not in that order though.

Try watercolor? Heh, maybe web design...html is easy and all over the place. Java (go to a college for the software - it's free...if they card you or whatever, they're fascists and defeating the purpose - tell them so) and all that isn't much different (I should say not much more complicated than a markup language). I don't know enough yet...meh.
Edit: I almost forgot this was the shroomery. Really, the greatest of hobbies.

Yeah, gas powerd cars, trucks, boats, planes and jets would be cool though too. Drugs are not a hobby of mine just something to expand not exscape the mind for me.

Problem here is that I kinda want some kind of hobby that builds a skill. Headphones are excellent things, but, I'm just going to know alot about headphones. I'm not going to be good at something.
The R/C cars thing sounds really entertaining. They are probably really complex, yes?

This is probably going to sound really weird to some people, but chess is amazing. Once you get to a certain level in your ability, games aren't just games, they are works of art. The beauty of watching your plan being conceived and carried out, and your opponent squirming while trying to find a way to get out of trouble. Well, that's probably just the sadistic side of me. =)
Besides chess, mycology ( ), playing guitar, eh, not too much else. I'm going to get into painting soon, and I'm working on my songwriting. I'm definitely going to learn yoga too.

Check out my sig. There is a whole section on DIY headphone amps and you would become proficient in electronics. You also develop your ears and get sucked into all different kinds of music. It is more of a hobby than you think. 
I preach about my headphones to anyone that will listen - No one cares though.

skateboarding, fishing when im upnorth, i like to film stuff with friends like funny stuff, stupid stuff, partying, etc. (we don't copy jackass and shit, if we video tape something stupid it's pretty much always our own idea), talking on the shroomery, a lot of people said i should go into stand up comedy but i most likely wouldn't just cause i don't like being on a stage and crap in front of people but if im in a group of people i know im totally fine with that and like being a funny person or whatever, drawing, learning about and playing with animals, swimming (not like sport swimming like races, just fucking around and having fun), golfing, frisbee golf. I like doing a lot of outdoors stuff, camping is real fun. I wanna hike for a week or two through some mountains sometime, and bring some bud and other fun stuff.

oh yeah, white water rafting is the shit, mountain biking kicks ass, and (usually) anywhere where a good band is, hanging out there is a good place to be.

Chess, yeah man, I used to play it all the time...I was pretty damn good too.
My main two hobbies are playing guitar and drums. This is how I spend most of my time, you can never have too much practice. I like to write lyrics every once in a while too, but very rarely are they any good (at least I don't think so). It may sound weird, but I also just listen to music. I mean only listen to music. I like to listen to music in the dark while relaxing on my bed....some people find that weird for some reason, but I find it the best way to really appreciate a song. I don't know if thats really a hobby, but I just thought I'd share.
I play alot of Poker too.

Mycology, botany. Learn to identify plants and trees and birds and mushrooms. Know what nature is around you. Learn how to grow hard to grow plants. Just some suggestions, and these all build skills. They'll be especially useful if you ever go long term hiking or get lost in the wild.
Other than, you could write novels. It's not as hard as some think, rather more about persistence. Just write a page a day for a year and you have a 365 page novel.
