I'm thinking greed will probably be our downfall within the next 500 to 1,000 years given the devastation technology is capable of. If we continue to advance technologically while remaining ego driven idiots we will eventually fuck ourselves over to a point where we won't be able to recover. I wouldn't exactly bet on that happening but it's definitely a real possibility at this rate.

We probably have 100 years of comfortable living and then the ecosystem is going to start crumbling very rapidly. We're already in the middle of a mass extinction.

I think we will either go out in the next 200-300 years, succumbing to our own weapons and inadequacy, or we will somehow overcome ourselves, leave the planet and at that point potentially last indefinitely.

That's not what I'm saying, human consciousness and advance computers will be merging together.

Humans aren't going into outer space to increase their survival, we are going into inner space. We're going into the quantum world to experience new realities, that's where human evolution is heading.
