It doesn't seem like there is a significant improvement in convenience over just carrying a card in your wallet or wearing a wristband or something.

And i think thats Bill's point: The only reason is for tracking/spying not extra convenience.

I don't think RFID really is too great for that either, compared to smartphones that many people have already. Yeah it's in your body all the time, but it's only designed for very close proximity communications. Your phone on the other hand is very well suited to spying on you. Constant internet connectivity, GPS, video and audio capture, search history, etc. Yeah you can leave it at home, but a RFID chip is no substitute for its surveillance capabilities.

I agreee. I think those implants just arent enough for tracking spying outside of the workplace. Phones, oh sure. Thats what Snowden would say too.

But the RF chips? Nah, not sophicated enough yet.

As of now you're right but microchips are relatively  new, like all technology it's just going to be improved upon and because of the basic nature of it as of now it could eventually become something people accept as normal. They'll only get better and have more capabilities as time goes on,  as it keeps improving it could eventually come out that they've been using them as a better and more in depth way of monitoring all of us and we wouldn't know until they're caught doing it, just like with our phones. Probably a long ways off and thats if it even happens, but the potential for it is still there

I agree they will begin injecting the microchip without your knowledge and by the time it becomes public, the government will have already passed legislation, under our noses, making it legal.

I'll be old and decrepit or dead when new borns are secretly injected with chips.  Unless it's already happening. :fatfear:

I'm not losing a second of sleep over it.

Yeah there is no reason why those capabilities wouldn't eventually be developed. Potentially the device could power itself from your blood too, eliminating the need for close proximity to an external power source. I certainly won't be getting one now or later.

i think the chip is already geared with GPS and everything currency. It just hasn't been told to us because they want to normalize the chip because if we knew the capabilities of it they know a lot of people will reject it. They are rubbing our vaginas to get them nice, loose, and wet until BAM we have a dick all the way inside us

GPS takes far more power than RFID. RFID takes one of the lowest charges necessary for any communications protocol and can actually recharge from passing devices electromagnetic impulses. If one could fit a GPS in the skin that could get enough charge to work daily, you'd have almost enough energy to also power up an LED screen attached to your eye sockets. RFID takes so little energy, and can also charge themselves by absorbing energy from passing RFID enabled devices.

I don't think you'll see GPS devices under anyone's skin when it's impractical and when people are willing to wear watches that do that for them.

What's wrong with keeping a RFID badge or card to swipe?

Companies want to own their employees by keeping them at work longer.
At what point are you considered a slave to your company?
