Pereskiopsis is the insuperable king of seedling grafts. Much faster growth than trichs but slightly harder to work with because of the spines and leaves.

I find Pachanoi grafts take well, but then again I am usually dealing with larger/older cactus when grafting to those.  Peres are also good, but I cannot keep mine healthy.  I would use peres for seedlings/small cactus, and pachanoi for older/larger ones, they are both good.

I graft seedlings to Pereskiopsis and when the scion slows down growth, regraft to some other, more permanent stock (Trichocereus, Eriocereus, Myrtilocactus, etc.) I usually leave a bit with a few areoles in the Peres graft and, if I'm lucky, it will throw out a couple of pups I could further graft. I have never found a stock that will push the scion faster than Pereskiopsis.
