Did Syrian Government Order Chemical Attack against Rebels? * 1
    #24220473 -

A few days ago it was reported that the Syrian Government launched a chemical attack against US backed Rebels.  But does that narrative really make ANY sense to anyone?

First of all, the Syrian Government previously came under very heavy international criticism for its chemical weapons, and agreed to remove them in 2014.  Clearly, using chemical weapons again would turn the entire world against the Syrian Government, and Assad would have little hope of keeping power.

But additionally, Syria has a very capable Air Force with plenty of Russian support.  Why would they feel any need to drop chemical weapons on the rebels rather than just using their bombs?

To me it makes no logical sense.

Syria says it bombed a rebel warehouse, and the chemicals came from inside that warehouse.  Russia also takes this position and is asking for an international investigation to look into what really happened.  But the West historically doesn't like to collaborate with Russia on things like this.

Here's an RT article covering the story.

Rebel warehouse with chem weapons hit by Syrian airstrike

I realize RT is a Russian source, but it's been surprisingly good thus far at reporting things accurately, and even reputable journalists like Larry King and Ed Schultz now work for RT.

I agree, the US has definitely destabilized the middle east.

Do you think the chemicals came from Assad, or the rebel warehouse?

Honest question if I can't upload a nirvana song or a video with too much side boob (as YouTube automatically flags and removes it)

Then how do Syrian terrorists upload videos of chemical attacks for global sharing and viewing?

Am I missing something? A browser plugin that overrides yotubes criteria? What is it

The Nirvana song is deleted because of copyright violations.  I'm not sure why you're complaining about side boob removal, as YouTube allows much more than that (CAUTION: NOT SAFE FOR WORK):

Your narrative seems correct.

I have been curious about Middle  East air power. My interest was primarily motivated  on how much we could fly around with impunity, while knowing a hand held weapon could take down a helicopter. Israel certainly and I have to assume Saudi Arabia have fleets of U.S. jets, and the former may manufacture their own. Who else has significant air power?

(I'm sure you got the joke but I know many people here play stupid) It was more of a facetious joke that simple daily users get flagged immediately for the smallest of infractions of YouTubes criteria

Yet many terrorists organizations upload horrific and shocking videos that violate these rules in a much more clear And obvious manner.

Yet not only do they pass the initial uploading criteria

But while mainstream media is hyper focusing on these media they are still available for global streaming and sharing

Am I missing something or can some explain why terrorists get carte blanche ?

Again, copyright violations get taken down immediately, probably because the music companies are constantly screening YouTube for such violations and report them immediately.  I don't think other videos come down like you claim, unless the side boob is part of a copyrighted music video.

Trust me they do and anyone who has uploading experience to YouTube will say the same

Just another glaring whole in the "never ending war on terrorism"

Terrorists get carte Blanche whilst everyone else on YouTube must follow YouTube crtieria

Highly unlikely but we'll just have trust them on this right!?

I think we lose a lot more aircraft than is reported.  I get a quarterly newsletter about fellow alumni who have died, and I usually read about at least one who died in an aircraft related military operation.

RT is "surprisingly good"?  They are just another Breitbart.  They propound 9/11 inside job theories.  How can you cite them with a straight face?

I searched for evidence of what you claim and couldn't find any, although I've found OTHER sites trying to smear RT.com by saying that.  I'm not saying you're wrong, just that I can't find evidence on RT.com supporting your claim.  Can you???

I did, however, find a lot of RT.com articles that contradict what you just said:

That's not RT.com, that's YouTube.

Admittedly, it does appear this was on their site at one time.  But to their credit, it's not there today, while the other links I provided are.

I didn't say it was on RT.com.  I said it was on RT.  Maybe it was on the site, maybe it wasn't.  Nonetheless, RT did produce that.  Maybe they've changed their tune...maybe they just tried to appear more mainstream.  I don't know.  Still, that's a pretty hard thing to get past in just a few years.

If CNN aired something like that, I'd have to disregard them, too.

Well, the point is it's gone, and they're clearly siding with the terror story now.  I'm sure CNN has at least a few crazy stories they've done that they now regret.
