An Invetro Accident? Has this happened to anyone else before? If so what do I do? (Pics)

So a couple months back I was doing a little experiment to see which gave me better results...

Sooaking my Rye Berrys in water with gypsum, before bringing to a boil, and inoculating

or

Soaking in Coffee, then bringing to a boil, and then inoculating

After doing 2 jars of each with three different strains I started to notice the ones prepaired the standard way went along as usual and were done and ready to be mixed to bulk in the standard 7 to 10 days..

However the ones soaked in Coffee were not so fast.. I mean I am talking it took weeks for the mycellium to grow for some reason, and when it did it grew so slow I at one point thought they all had stalled..

So I just left them in my incubator and went along with the rest of my projects when today I remembered they were in there and totally thinking they were all going to be donezo and covered in green tree mold or something I found actually the exact opposite..

All my other jars were just fine... They were all definately done and very white haha like they had been done for at least a week or two but then I noticed this one.. and it had these little mushrooms all over it!!

What do you all make of this and what do you suggest I do from here?

Theres a lot more than just one in there but they dont look as big and as abundant as some of the invitro grows I have found on here.. So what do yall suggest I do? I dont even know where it got the light or the gas exchange to start pinning the way that it did.. It was literally in my incubator under my desk which is blocked off by black trash bags so no light gets in..

Pretty crazy if you ask me.. but let me know your thoughts..

They don't need light or very much gas exchange to pin. Cubes will grow in total darkness, just not as well as in light.

I would probably just toss the whole jar rather than trying to dig that crap out to save the $1 jar and lid.

If you leave spawn long enough it will pin in vitro. Also contamination makes in vitro pinning happen too

Oh reallllllyyyyyy.....

So me thinking this was a cool thing isnt so cool huh?

Would it be bad if I introduced it to light just to see how big I can get them to grow in the jar as long as I dont open it?

Because I dont know why but this whole mushroom growing in a jar fascinates me in some weird way... lol

But what about the other ones.. They all look good.. like I said.. Def are ready to be mixed to bulk thats for sure.. But not all slimey or covered in metabolites or anything that I can see.. but then again I havent really looked all to well just a quick once over to make sure no green or any other mold kind of mold that I couldnt find..

Do you guys think the other ones will be okay if I went ahead and proceeded to do that? Mix them with a little coir, verm, gypsum?

You can leave that jar go the shrooms will get bigger.
