Found these in the same field as pics in "i found some" post.  They werent growing in manure, but in a well grazed part of the field.  I am now taking a spore print, will post results soon. :wtf:
Notice the little black spot between the 2 stems at the base?  That is a small brother to these 2, I guess "abort" but it looks fully developed.  The cap is fully open.  No blueing at all, i squeezed one of the stems and nothing happened.


Btw, is it possible to id a dried specimen???

It left a very faint brown-tan partial print when I looked at it last night , but when I got up this morning it has nothing under it?????????? :wtf:

inocybe i think.
more likely than not a rather poisonous cholinergic.

I concur. With the photo my first thought is Inocybe, but without a spore print it's only a wild guess.

Inocybes should all be considered to be poisonous and should never be eaten.
