You most likely dont have the mold. And the abhorts, what strain, wouldnt happen to be pf by any chance? I cant get those bastards to grow worth a damn cased. You otta use those quarts for making casing trays that way you can get underway and make more spawn jars. PLus a casing would have more surface area and promote better pinset. Dont worry about the mold, the best thing to do is to grow it out and find out for yourself.

It's hard to say. Cobweb doesn't have a distinct smell, AFAIK. Look at Ryche's page for pictures of it and give us more detail about what it looks like.
