Portland woman gets snake stuck in her earlobe

Next time you're trying to convince a newly goth 17-year-old not to get their ears gauged, why not tell them tale of one Ashley Glawe, a Portland resident with ear gauges and a pet python who recently became internet famous for getting her python lodged in her earlobe.

Apparently, Glawe and her pet snake Bart were just hanging out, as snakes and humans do, when Bart slithered his way through the hole in her ear.

yes, but i imagine the snake is not being very cooperative, especially if they haven't built much of a relationship.  i'm pretty sure they can contract/expand muscles at will and may be contracting when she tried guiding it back out

Her parents will be so proud how brave she was.  They will gladly pay the $500 for the emergency room visit, and get her another tattoo or piercing as a reward for her courage.  Poor girl.  Cmon honey, time to get more mutilation.

I like how the blurb is acting like that's something that just happened, like "oops a snake went through my earlobe."  Ball pythons move pretty slow, you'd feel it starting to go through your ear LONG before this could occur, it getting stuck.  Ashley knows she put that snake in there, or guided it or whatever.  Dumbass.

If i were her parent, I'd make her choose between her earlobe or the snake. I think her choice would be pretty obvious.
