I didn't read the thread, but I got burned with chlamydia about 15 years ago.

I didn't even notice until I had one of my kidney stones. They ran some tests and showed that I had it  (and I passed it on to my then, now ex, girlfriend). That wasn't a fun conversation.

But, 14 pills cleared it right up.  :shlongaliens:  edit.. Or maybe it was 28. Regardless, it's pretty common and nothing to worry yourself about too much for the time being.

Also, found out that I may be a carrier for HPV, but there's no way to tell.

Girl had an irregular pap smear and found it... And it's one of the "bad" strains that can lead to cervical cancer :feelsbadman:

Pretty sure in men HPV clears itself after a bunch of years, so hoping that's the case.

The closest I've came to that was trouble peeing and often burning when I did. Doctor was sure it was an STD and I was tested. Came back negative. Memory is fuzzy but I think they did the test again and I still failed it. UTI was ruled out as well (as well as some others I can't remember). Doctor basically just told me I'm SOL because she couldn't treat me if she didn't know what the problem was.

I suspect if it wasn't when I was locked up they probably would've done more to figure out what it was, but they basically just do the bare minimum they can get away with and don't give a shit. Either way it ended up going away on it's own.

It's easy to fix man, you just eat two pills and it clears 99% of infections. But you feel dirty afterwards and will probably be paranoid about sex a bit now unfortunately

Were you an alcoholic at that point in time? I had a similar thing happen and I was just drinking excessively to the point that my BAC was making my urinary tract super sensitive.

Nope. That was when I was 15-ish back when I hated alcohol and swore I'd never turn into everyone else in my family :haha:.

I did notice over the past few years some issues with burning and thought whatever I had, had returned but eventually linked it to my alcohol intake. The more I regularly drank the more common it became and when I'd be sick or actually end up not drinking for a few days the problem would basically disappear.
