My buddy will only be using 1 jar of each type...example:

(Jar #1) part Finch seed to 1 part vermiculite w/spring water

(Jar #2) Drinking Straw Method w/spring water

(Jar #3) Drinking Straw Method w/cow shit tea

and also...

(jar #1) part Finch seed to 1 part vermiculite w/cow shit tea

(jar #2) Drinking Straw Method w/spring water

(jar #3) Drinking Straw Method w/cow shit tea

and soooooo on.

My buddy is going to add Aliens substrate mix into the testing ground.

As a added bonus...he also will be adding Hawk's Eye Birdseed Substrate Formula as well.

These two new contenders will be tested on their original formula, as well as the 'drinking straw' method. Now the testing will have 6 more jars.

Because this is getting to be a rather large experiment, and I want to include pics. and detail findings along the way, I will create a web page for easy viewing.
