I have tried a couple of different ways but no luck. First I tried 1/4 cup brf, 3/4 verm,1/4 cup water no signs of growth after 3 weeks. Then 7 days after that I used myceluim water made with malt on the same substrate no signs. Then I tried the same myceluim on a substrate made with 1/4 cup brf/1/2 cup verm/1/4 cup spring water still no signs. please give help with substrates they work or tell me whats wrong. ALL temps for all jars are at 85 degress F Quote:

Are you sure your letting your jars cool down enough after sterilizing before innoculating them?

yea, let those jars sit OVER NIGHT (8-10) at least!! before inculating them. then put those badboys in a dark, warm spot. u should see growth in 1-3 weeks, but i've seen it take longer in odd cases

Are you using spores from print or a syringe ? Sorry just noticed you said mycelium . Ummmmmm I have not used pf tek , if you followed directions all should work . Did you use a nice size chunk of mycelium ? The more you use the quicker the recolinization in new medium (substrate) . Good Luck
