I once shot  a loud gun a bunch of times with no ear protection. I was pretty deaf for like 2 weeks. I think my ears are mostly healed now though


After that I can't take guns in movies seriously, with people shooting away and not giving a shit about their ear drums getting blown out

stapled the center of my palm with an industrial stapler because I thought it was empty/didn't work and clapped it against my other hand in a dramatic flourish to punctuate my reply when someone asked why I was looking for a stapler if I was already holding one.

We had two and one didn't work - I was building a set at my work and this had been a huge source of frustration for me throughout the day so after I stapled my hand first I turned away from the people I was talking to with and I was standing and staring wide eyed with my jaw on the floor at the inch long staple in my palm, then I ran into the costume shop without a word and excitedly told my coworker(who shared my frustrations that day) that the stapler was working again excitedly with a smile and tears streaming down my face.

Never lived it down.

Coricidin can actually kill in high enough doses

Terrible choice if one is trying to get high on DXM

I'd say the gel caps with just DXM would be the best choice short of DXM crystals, but DXM sucks anyway so yea don't bother

Thats the worst part. I drove there. I would never drive under the influence of any benzos or alcohol, so I don't know what the fuck I was thinking. I was on this little road that cut through the woods. Passed out next to my vehicle on the side of the road. I have no idea how long I was laying there, because I blacked out after like 40 minutes and the other 16 or so hours are just missing from my memory. God knows what the fuck happened that day.

Left the keys in the ignition, thankfully turned my truck off and didnt lock my doors. Also, thankfully, no one stole my vehicle.

i ate 2 boxes of coricidin once jugged down with mountian dew code red.
and me and my friend did 1 box of cor everyday for like a month. i dont know how we didnt die.
also did 1.5g of dxm extract. it was really clean feeling but physically fried me. i was numb for months/years after.

i also tried to smash and grab beer from a 7/11 and get-a-way in a car that couldnt go in reverse.
i peeled out of the parking lot being chased and turned into a one way street/dead end and i
turned down an embankment and drove across 4 lanes of busy traffic. i got away...

also not telling my wife i was about to nut right in her face when she wasnt expecting it.
she has quite the right hook on her.

Probably smoke cannabis for the first time.

Sincerest apologies to smokers and legalization advocates but I became instantly schizophrenic. Before that, was probably a prodromal schizophrenia. I was a weird kid but god damn was I insane after those couple of hits. Why I kept smoking occasionally is simply a testament to how insane I had become.

Smartest thing was take mushrooms. LOL. Great experience, even though I was schizophrenic. Eventually, I believe, the mushroom led to my strange regenerative abilities and subsequent recovery from schizophrenia and other problems by putting me into contact with the Divine.

lol I've lost my car before too but it was possibly even dumber because I lost it for a couple of days. To be fair, I live in a city and I was on the train 4-6 times a day between two jobs and the few times I'd drag my ass out to class. Parking is a pain in the ass around here and even though that neighborhood was one of the better ones to try to park in here sometimes I had to park half a mile away and for some reason I was terrible at remembering to actually look at which street I parked on so it wasn't all that strange when I noticed my car wasn't where I thought I had parked it one day while walking to my house from the subway in order to change before going to work...in fact it was so normal to me, and I was so busy and didn't feel like wandering around trying to remember where the fuck I parked that I decided I'd just walk down the street next to it on that same stop home before work the next day.

It took 3 or 4 days of me taking different streets home from the train station during that brief break in my day to finally conclude that it was stolen.

After:
One call to work to explain I'd be late because my car was stolen and I had to report it,
One call to my police district
Two 911 calls(police district told me I HAD to call 911 for dispatch...4 hours later I hesitantly called again because my shift at my job was almost fucking over at that point)
30 seconds with two grumpy ass cops who typed my VIN into a computer...




turns out it got towed.




It was legally parked. I live in Philly where tow companies have violent turf wars and will literally hook your car and move it into an illegal spot nearby so they can tow it. The city's finally addressing it, a few years too late for my poor subaru tho


I do a lot of dumb shit, but it's usually fairly trivial and ditsy shit that just makes my life moderately more annoying for a couple days.
