1)Pluteus exilis
2)Maybe Rhodocollybia, what does it smell like?
3)How does it feel? Are the cap/stem slimy and hard to handle? And are those gills pure white or do they have some yellow to them? It is some kind of Hygrocybe or Gliophorus, maybe a rare one.

1) Edible?
2) Really hard to desccribe.  My GF and I are going crazy because it smells like a dessert we've had before but can't place it!  Almond Extract?  It smells like an italian dessert.
3)It is slimy almost like mucus and very difficult to handle.  Off white to slight yellow white.

Found at Soquel Demonstration Forest so if number 3 is a rare one I would like to add it to their references.

1) Edible but probably not very good (I've never tried em).
2) I was thinking Rhodocollybia oregonensis and that smell supports that idea, I could still be wrong though.
3) It is a Gliophorus species. It looks like G. flavifolius, but that species has yellow gills. Supposedly there is a similar species that has white gills and is rare.
