I believe ecstacy causes a little bit of serotonin recepter damage (it repairs itself, but takes like 6 months or something) and the tolerance you build up to it is a bitch.
So it's not something to have often , and the other main thing I hate about ecstacy is that you may not be getting MDMA in the pill, or not 100%, so if you fork out for testing kit, etc.. etc... you've just spent heaps of cash and thats always a slut

You can dance like mad with a bit of shroomage anyway.

I used to do X once a month.... WAY TOO MUCH!!  I just stopped about 7 months ago, I had to I would get really depressed, I even tried cmomitting sucide at one point, I wasen't thinking. I also got real bad anxiety, I still have it too.  It sucks. I also think that X made me dumber. I am just starting to get back to normal, so yeah everyone stay away from the X it's not worth it. :smile:

I also think X made me dumber. I havent taken it more than like 5-7 times or something but X really burns up your brain cells like crazy and totally randomnly. In one unlucky roll you can have fucked up a part of your brain which is of importance (since 4 5ths of it is not of importance). They did X testings on cats and the cats brains would be like half the size it was before in only the amount of a month. Crazy shit!

When I start to come down, I lay on comfy couch, smoke pot, huff nitrous and listen to nice tunes until its time for sleep, mmmmm fluffy. As for the MDMA/mushroom combo, aka hippieflip, its good!, try it and see.

You don't know how much mdma was given to the cats in a period of a month do you? I've only done it once and am in no way an advocate, but they had to have given those cats a shit load to eat away half their brains. And by the way there is no question that mushrooms are more "mind blowing".

I dont come down bad :grin: And the combo is best of both worlds. Take rolls wait and hour take shrooms and prepare for the experience of a life time :laugh:

XTC is all ova here in the UK and although I once loved it I have come to hate the DIRTY, MESSY, gurning high and the severe depression that WILL follow after prolonged use.

Shrooms are real nice and I have not yet experienced what I would call a comedown from them but I dont think Ive used them enough to really know. They seem like they might be more usful for fixing problems where as XTC creates them. Do you guys ever suffer from depression\comedowns (as in not so nice feeling) after shrooms?

ecstasy will mainly open your heart chakra....and shrooms will mainly open your brow chakra...imho(in my HUMBLE opinion)

so SHROOMS more 'mind' blowing, MDMA(which is the ONLY thing that 'ecstasy' is) more 'heart' blowing, like valour said.

shrooms you can feel so many different things, on MDMA its the same feeling for the whoooooole time, nothing changes(unless you choose to feel depressed), you just feel the love pouring in and out of your soul.  and it fucks up the levels of serotonin, so its not healthy at all.

and btw...ecstasy is not meant to be a club drug..it was created for therapeutic use and is actually being used still today(underground of course, but some legally advocate the pharmaceutical).  Dont let dumbass raver kids give it a bad name, it has its place in the world to help people just like LSD and shrooms(imho).....abusing it isnt helping, its destroying.

Wise drug users know....MODERATION IS THE KEY

also...older people i advise not to do mdma.  it is harder for you to regenerate your serotonin than in younger people(so i have read)  But i say its all in the soul, fuck the body....fuck a body, you are your soul, everything that you feel comes from your soul(love) or your ego, many go with the ego(pain)....in my own experience with ecstasy, i started to feel depressed....but i said(chose) to say fuck this im feelin the love again...meditated and i was rollin again, no need to pop another pill, just meditate.  went to sleep and woke up feeling great for the entire week, then was back to 'normal', but with many many new positive insights.

YOU CHOOSE TO FEEL HOW YOU WANT TO FEEL.  Dont feel depressed, be happy :smile:  and yes it IS a matter of choice, no one makes you feel like shit, only you do.  Its all in you.

By no means is mdma just a "party drug". It really upsets me that people believe that partying is all ecstasy is for. Yes, it can be great for parties and raves, but there is so much more to it. Where as shrooms show us how powerful the universe is, mdma is a drug that takes you to the peak and shows you all the love around you at all times. They are just 2 different but alike drugs both "mind expanding" when used correctly. so please dont critize what you dont know. Be safe  :smile:

I've never had a bad comedown. But it can be uncomfortable at times, when you're tired and want to go to sleep, but you can't because your mind just keeps on thinking.

I'll go for the "organic" stuff over lab-cooked any day.  Cannibas and fungus, baby!  Gaia *wants* you to eat her!

With MDMA specifically, I worry about serotonin depletion.  Both short term (the 3-5 day brain recovery)and longer term (inability of the brain to produce serotonin at pre-MDMA levels).

I knew a guy in college that had written a research paper on shroomies, and his hypothesis was that our little fungal friend actually helps your brain form new connections... I don't know that it's ever really been proven, but by the same token it's never been disproven either.  McKenna fans unite!

I agree with most of the comments here about heart vs. mind, but to me shrooms are the most wonderful thing I've ever experienced in my life. :tongue2: Absolutely no f***ing comparison.  MDMA can be fun and a way to open up to people you don't even know, but is that really what you want to do?

Shroom are by far more mindblowing, X feels nice though (when its close to real MDMA that is, plenty of time its just crap). But then again shrooms can be just as euphoric even in a dance situation.

MDMA: - Very risky in terms of never really knowing what your getting (unless you have a test kit, or get tabs, and even then you dont know how pure the tabs are)
- Causes irreversible damage to the brain, has been proven in many experiments (reported on erowid.org, for those who want to debate).
- Has the potential to kill you.
- Could lead to depression and other serious conditions.
- Could have the time of your life on it.
- Synthetic, man-made, not the safest thing (but really, what is?).
- Could see things in "a new light" that you never did before.
- Could make you come out and admit things you have kept inside, revealing honesty to your friends/family/whatever.

Mushrooms: - Very spiritual
- Not addictive (Im sure it could be in some cases, but for the most part they are not addictive).
- Doesn't hurt your brain (compared to MDMA).
- Always a chance of having a bad trip, resulting in a negative experience.
- Natural, organic, fairly safe
- As well as MDMA, you can see things in "a new light"
- Overall, shrooms are a very beneficial drug, that can allow you to see things for what they really are. You can begin to realize things that you couldn't before, and basically put, they have a lot of good use in them.

Final thought: Personally, I believe both the positive and negative effects of shrooms far outweigh those of ecstasy (MDMA).

Mushrooms are my favorite drug, but each is good for certain situations. I'd prefer E for a rave, but mushrooms for a psytrance party. I'd prefer doing mushrooms with a friend, but E with a girlfriend. Mushrooms for mind-expansion, but ecstacy for bonding and therapy.

Ecstacy or mushies... X used to be my favorite drug that i did every week, once in a while along with shrooms, but yeah it does do damage to ur brain. since my raving days i stopped using x, now i just stick to shrooms, and weed once in a while to get me on the mellow side..

What about X and Mushrooms together? i dont think it would be very wise,information says that this would be very psycodelic and reduce chances of bad trip, IMO its bullshit. I did X the other day, along with smoking dope,information says that the dope makes the X also a more psycodelic experiance..well, it did. but it wasent very nice, it made me feel VERY withdrawn and fucked up, started making me crazy, paranoid, anxious etc, but luckly that was only for approx 30 seconds till the X kicked back in. Then i was fine again (an buzzin). My friend also experianced the same thing. after that experiance i wouldnt dare mix them both (Mushrooms and X, the mushrooms could make the experiace 10x as worse as the dope did) Maybe dope on the X comedown though dope would be ok,but not at the peak. Although i did smoke it on the peak too, not sure if it bought the peak on, but it may have shorted the X trip. The effects of the X only lasted for like 1 hour (not sure if that normal.. is it?)

my x trip lasts for 2-6 hours. i always take more than one in the time period though. X and shrooms isnt a bad idea, its just that u had a bad trip when you did it. wat i do is roll with the x, and right before the x starts coming down i take the shrooms, so when the shrooms kick in the comeup is VERY INTENSE, and it brings the X back up again. done it many times

Mindblowing? Mushrooms definately. I've had a VERY mindblowing experience on E, but it was along with LSD. To me, E makes me feel good, but doesn't really blow my mind the way real psychedelics do.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Mushies are definately more mindblowing.. I've learned a lot about the world around me with mushies.

MDMA you just kind of deal with personal issues, it is a very social drug, but in the end you start to see it really helps yourself.

I could go on and on about the beneficial uses of them. One is no better or worse then the other, it really depends on what you are looking for with the use of these substances.

That being said, my personal opinion... I usually prefer Ecstasy(MDxx..:rolleyes:) at musical events like raves clubs and concerts. Times when I am gonna want to be very active and dancing and stuff. Sometimes with shrooms I'll just be tripping so hard I wont want to move anywhere for a minute or two.. I like shrooms at 'trippier' places, and more intimate settings. Like friend's or my own homes, camping trips, museums.. I dont know, just beautiful weekend days out with friends:cool:We always find SOMETHING cool to do. LOL. Hippie fests are always great too. :mushroom2:

Depending on your mood and mental state, rolling around in soil and shit can be more exhilorating and kind blowing than any drug.

The real drug is in you.

And as far as this thread is considered, trollin' is always fun.

And, in my own honest opinion...through sobriety I now find confusion. Both intoxicants (mushies and beanies) are great psychedelics to clarify my mind and conscious.

A plethora of music aspirations control my temptations of future revelations beyond "now". The percussion, and the heart beat of my love and devotion. The rhythm goes beyond, prying into the third eye, releasing the creativity held so far inside. The melodicies, through the out of tune pianos and broken classical guitars...there lies a beauty. A beauty as prevelent as the fire inside. To release these energies is pure ecstacy, to deveop these gifts is sacred. The vocality, so pure as can be, shying away from herself, lies within me. For the underlying serenitity, this is what I live for. I plea for harmony, and nothing more. Music equals love. Creation of love leads to the procreativity of the World, and it's spirals and puddles prevailing.

You can defiantly reach a state of europhic bliss while on shrooms that is far better then you could ever hope to get on E. Toss on mind-blowing visuals and life-alterting thoughts, and well

does E even stand a chance?

Although, in a club-setting, I think I'd be inclined to do E instead of shrooms, simply because I dont like being touched while on shrooms and like being able to laydown/sleep when I need to.
