Super Moon UFO Experience 6

ok so me and my two friends went down to the beach last night to soak up some moon energy because it was the super moon, which if you dont know has been the brightest moon since sometime in the mid 1940s.
so after a while my friend who actually lives on said beach went home, and me and my other friend went on a very long walk. so we walked down the beach a ways and saw a group of people up ahead and decided to turn back. so we turn back and get back to the "base" where we left all our stuff and at this point its getting really close to 2am.
so were tryna figure out what to do and we figure its time for us to split a monster energy drink and smoke some cigs.
mind u we are dead fucking sober this entire time, 100% flat sober.
so im sitting there in this giant concrete tube smoking a cig and my friends standing next to me facing towards the left of the horizon when hes like "hey con, i think you wanna come out here for a sec".
so i come out and hes like "do you see that?" and we look up at the sky and we see a yellowish orangish ball of light going very very fast from our left hand side over the horizon towards us.
at this point im shouting at the top of my fucking lungs because this thing is clear as fucking day a ufo. so it gets to the center of the sky right in front of us and blinks and is gone.
i collapsed on the sand on my knees hysterical laughing and i swear to u if i havent been a believer my entire life and known my friend was too it was so real i would have had a fully fledged panic attack.
thats the story.

Would love to experience that myself... I do want to trust that, but there's still something inside me saying ufo as a giant flying object is just bs.

Cool UFO report man, ive seen a cool multicolored type one myself. I was in my backyard and immediately got my dad and brother to come out. We stared for a while and heard a woman in the distance scream "OH MY GOD". It had a very very creepy vibe and creeps me out just thinking about it.

without video or anything its hard to guess as to what you saw but there is a meteor shower also going on right now, and there always a chance it was just a natural reflection of light with your pupils getting larger then smaller, being outside in the dark then looking up at the moon and all.

we saw the meteor shower after the ufo and they looked nothing alike.
the meteor shower was just lil streaks of light that only went a very short distance over the course of about .5-1 second and they were much smaller and farther away than the UFO which was very large and traveled over a very significant portion of the sky at a very rapid rate.

I don't think these orbs of light are psychical objects.
Interdimensional beings seems very possible.
Ever seen the intravenous dmt study where a ton of people reported seeing giant orbs of light which talked with them? This sounds very similar to the orbs of light people have been reporting on psychedelics for years...

UFO sightings are much like dreams, they're interesting and meaningful to you but you can't really expect other people to take them seriously

That is true to an extent but I have known at least 5-10 people who have seen the orbs of light in the sky do impossible feats.
Even my mom saw them once with a ton of other people present.... At a certain point you need to stop being skeptical and think, "huh maybe if there are literally hundreds if not thousands of people all over the world who have seen this same phenomena maybe there is something to it"... Hell I had a camp counselor as a kid who talked about seeing the lights with his girlfriend.
I have heard this same story from people stone cold sober and people super high on drugs...
You can choose not to take it seriously but for the many people who have witnessed or heard about this it is definitely something work investigating.
Quote:
In a study conducted from 1990 through 1995, University of New Mexico psychiatrist Rick Strassman found that some volunteers injected with high doses of DMT reported experiences with perceived alien entities. Usually, the reported entities were experienced as the inhabitants of a perceived independent reality the subjects reported visiting while under the influence of DMT.[6] In a September 2009 interview, Strassman described the effects on participants in the study. He stated that "subjectively, the most interesting results were that high doses of DMT seemed to allow the consciousness of our volunteers to enter into non-corporeal, free-standing, independent realms of existence inhabited by beings of light who oftentimes were expecting the volunteers, and with whom the volunteers interacted. While 'typical' near-death and mystical states occurred, they were relatively rare.
If our consciousness is capable of reaching "other realms" and interacting with beings of light there why shouldn't they be able to appear here?

im with you bro, I've seen them too. i don't think they have any real objective validity though... seeing a UFO is a purely subjective experience

When my mom saw them she was at a private party in the dessert with a large group of people who all witnessed it.
I believe she said 3 big orbs of light flew right overhead before blasting off in different directions as streaks of light and disappearing.
I wouldn't call that subjective when at least 10-20+ people all saw the same thing
Or with the DMT study when a large portion of the participants saw the same or similiar beings of light which had been "waiting for them"...
Those are pretty much the opposite of subjective

they aren't, 1 person's experience has just as much validity as 20 people's experience if the phenomenon can't be repeated in order to be studied. over 30,000 people witnessed the miracle at Fatima where the sun appeared to move about the sky, that doesn't mean the sun actually DID move about the sky... cus that'd mean the Earth was flying out of it's orbit and we'd all be dead...

The phenomenon did repeat in the study, it just isn't the kind of experience that can be externally studied.
So each individual experience might be technically subjective but I would argue many people seeing the same thing in various scenarios supersedes the subjective nature of the experience
We might never be able to measure or truly study something such as this so group experiences are about the least subjective we will get for awhile

i agree that people experiencing abduction type phenomnenon on DMT is interesting, i'm not sure why we should imbue those people's experiences with any more epistemic weight than the experiences of the people who met ancient Egyptian pharoahs, Hindu Goddesses or Knight's Templar on DMT (just because it better fits the cultural zietgeist?)

that feels like an enormous fallacy, even group experiences are inherently subjective unless the observed phenomenon can be repeated

Because people have had these experiences sober and on drugs for a long time. The nature of the experience seems very transcendental.
Also notice in the DMT study the majority of people didn't see Pharaohs or goddesses or knights, they saw the same orbs of light which said the same things to them.
That they had been "waiting" to communicate with them and were very happy/ excited to finally have a chance.
Quote:

What would you consider it being repeated then? Because plenty of groups of people have seen the same or similiar orbs of light do impossible feats in the sky.
The study also repeated the subjective results many times. I doubt they told each participant what to expect which means they all had similiar or identical experiences objectively I would argue.
If it was fully subjective they would have all seen different things and nothing should have overlapped. The re occurring themes are the best evidence we have right now.

I experienced an abduction after taking 3 tokes of changa. I felt a love craftian entiety probing my body, the visuals I do not remember much besides swirling patterns. As soon as I was able to open my eyes I saw this energy entering my body probing me and making its presence felt very strongly I felt naked and vunreable to these beings.
After that experience I swear there is another dimension out there with beings beyond our comprehension, are thesr extra terrestrials?? Who knows.

all experiences are subjective. that's what subjective means. Or rather, that is what experience means. All experiences are internal. there is no such thing as an external experience and thus no such thing as an objective experience.
seeing a UFO Is no more or less subjective than seeing a seagull or a cloud.
