So what are your favorite kind of shrooms?

Favorite kind of mushrooms species or favorite strain of Psilocybe cubensis?

Favorite species = Psilocybe cyanenscens

Favorite strain of cube = Malabar

Favorite species = Psilocybe Scirtipes(I wish I could find some cyanenscens
as I hear they are common around here , but every year I look, I see nothing, and they have such nice caramel caps mmmmmmm :smile:, anyway I only found scriptipes once but WOW, I love them forever now!, although they are rare, so I would say that beaos are great but I know when I find some cyanenscens they will be my fav!!


Favorite strain of cube =Lipa, I am really liking the growth /high of these , excellent all around :smile:

favourite species are equador for growing, as i personally get massive flushes every time  .and they are a nice buzz.
but my favourite for tripping are mazzies as they seem to be very uplifting and spiritual, great visuals aswell.  :mushroom2:  :thumbup:

I suppose I have posted this many times.

P. strictipes is a common field mushroom. And w has never been considered rare. Only by mis-information.

Many early shroom guides, between 1974 and 1988), including mine, followed the identification of P. strictipes based on Rolf Singer And Alexander H. Smith's false ID of a P. baeocystis specimen which they identified as P. strictipes. That information is available in the Journal, "Mycologia" vol. 50. 1958.

However, P. strictipes is actually a common field mushroom, found in the late summer to fall in the PNW and throughout many countries in Europe. It is almost indistinguishable macroscopically from P. semilanceata (liberty cap).

IT is not rare but is collected along with the liberty cap mushroom frequently.

Here are some pages from paul Stamet's, "Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World" with a correct photo and explanation of some of the errors in its identity.

Many people still pick P. Baeocystis in lawns and mulch and id thenm as P. strictipes basing their ID's on mis-information in many guidebooks and on the original Singer Identification of the shroom..

i like to grow is equador
but since liberty caps are the only ones that grows around in this area and i looove go out and picks them i must sau they are my favorite :smile:

I'd agree with Shriek... LCs are my fav... I actually like their taste, as compared to all others that I've sampled...

P. Subaeruginosa, which is the same family as Cyanenscens and about as potent, I think their the only type of magic mushrooms i can get in Melbourne, Aus. are they?, or are thye just most common or something?

P. Subaeruginosa are my favs as I think you can only get those ones where I live, although there are ones that get bigger and have a wavy cap, they are my favourites, I was told they are a wavy cap version of P. Subaeruginosa, I don't know.
