Not to be rude, but is that a hard concept to grasp?

Evolution takes place whether or not it makes changes in skin pigmentation, (akin to if its not broke why fix it?)

I don't know what your judging criteria is, but if its pure skin pigmentation your statement could be true.

IF (and I don't think it is) its true that all humans came from negro's, then this would be my response, and this is just a slight modification from whta I believe from factual sources.

Negros evolved in a land that was relativly easy to live in. No harsh winters, no need to "seek" anything else. So they evolved to deal with what they had on hand, running from animals (top 25 runners in the world are negros), things like that. This is why the femur bones of negros are quite different (elongated, sharper rake angle). Their lifestyles there were that of warring factions, lack of government outside tribal chiefs, and vast slave trade (which, of course, still goes on today).

Whites, on the other hand, evolved in the frozen north. They had to devise ways to produec enough food to put away in their homes for the winter, and their homes had to be a bit more creative than elephant shit and straw to keep them warm in the winters. Because of this, whites evolved to be more reliant on intellectual ability than the ability to spear a giraffe.

True, and actually the earliest evidence of creating fire with tools comes from one of our homomid ancesters, Homo Erectus.  However, since scientists generally agree that the earliest modern humans were black(based on DNA tests which measured genetic diversity), I assume the same is true for our direct ancestors.

If the "earliest humans" were black and now black people exist, among other people, wouldn't black people now be likened to the "earliest humans", and everyone else, a more evolved form? :-)  If not, why not? :-)  Boy how I love using your words to win arguments ss7 buddy

Way to display your complete and utter ignorance of evolution!  When humans spread out across the globe, they encountered new environments, and had to adapt to those environments, while black people stayed on the same continent that they had always been on.  When people moved into the cold regions of Europe and northern Asia, their skin no longer needed the high levels of melatonin that black people had for living under the hot African sun.  People in India and Australia(Aborigines) maintained a dark complexion due to the hot areas they lived in, but developed other physical features that were distinct from black Africans.  In Japan and other colder places in east Asia, people's skin also got rather light, while the Southeast asians had darker skin, but not as dark as the Africans, since the heat was not quite as severe.  Asians also developed those slits in their eyes for some reason or other that I can't figure out.  Then some of them crossed the land bridge to the Americas, and became the Native Americans, losing the eye slits.

So you see, none of those races is "more evolved" than any other.  They are simply adapted to their environment.

I'm not disagreeing with you (I just don't know) but where does it say that earliest humans were black?  This is news to me. (hopefully this doesn't make me a raging racist :smirk:)

I saw something about it on the Discovery channel once.

Well, I certaintly wouldn't think that a channel owned by good ole Sumner would lie to encourage race-mixing, look at MTV for gods sake! :-)

If blacks are MORE LIKE the earliest humans, and whites are LESS LIKE htem, then, uh, wouldn't that mean we did evolve more? You mentioned how asians evolved, and whites, but blacks DIDN'T. They were, in your mind, the original, and they are still just like that, that is a LACK OF EVOLUTION.

I just wanted to throw that out there because I knew where you were going with this thread, and wanted to show you a significant contribution made by people who you don't think made any significant contributions.

where did I ever, at any time, say that they never made "any" significant contributions?  Your tagline is amusing, perhaps you should stop putting me in a position where I have to spit out the words you place in my mouth? I'm supposed to be the close minded one here!

Ok, I guess I was wrong.  You never actually claimed that black Africans had never made any significant contributions.  But you've implied it in many of your posts.

fire(invented by "niggers")

"invented"?  Lighting hits a tree and their is fire, I'd hardly say it's a patentable invention

Alright, slight error in my vocab.  So they discovered how to create fire.

agriculture(developed independently in several parts of the world)
writing(same as above)
the wheel(invented by "sand niggers")
the scientific process(concieved of during the Age of Enlightenment)
due process(I believe this slowly developed among different cultures in contact with each other)
the constitution(I think America had the first one, if you don't count the Magna Carta)
mass production(developed by Nazi-sympathizer Henry Ford)
the internet(invented by Al Gore )

According to your list, whites have never done anything, right? Also, Ford wasn't a Nazi-sympathizer, he was anti-Semetic and he wrote his anti-Semetic arguments years before Adolf came to power.  Again, I'm supposed to be the one that lumps people together

Um, where did I say whites have never done anything?  Everything I mentioned after the wheel was invented by white people.  Also, I'm pretty sure Henry Ford was awarded the Iron Cross, the most prestigious civilian medal in Nazi Germany, so yes, I believe he was a Nazi-sympathizer.

Homo Sapien Sapiens (modern humans) were not the first to use fire, so presumably they were not the discoverers of it. Unless you can show that earlier hominoids were negroid, I don't see how any claim can be made that blacks discovered fire.

--------------------
To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

I know I'm making an assumption here, but based on the scientific consensus that the earliest modern humans were black, and the fact that homo erectus shared many physical traits with modern humans and lived in the same region as the earliest modern humans, I think it could at least be considered an educated guess to say that Homo Erectus also had a similar skin color. But who knows? I could be wrong.

Try to not put two open quote tags in close proximity. Also, I think that blacks have contributed alot. Blood transfusions (tho noone ever mentions that most of them failed till a white man discovered blood typing and blood antigens), music, the traffic light (with metal that whites discovered, lights that whites invented, electricity... blah blah, for roads that whites... for cars that whites... etc)

And once again you don't even knick my argument, let alone "thrash" it.  No, they're just as evolved as us, as they're adapted to their environment just as much as we are to ours(or would be, if white people still all lived in Europe and black people all still lived in Africa).  I would say that white people are more adapted to the climate in Europe, while black people are more adapted to the climate of Africa.  To say that one is more evolved would imply that one was outcompeting the other.  But that isn't the case.  Each race is equally well adapted to their own environments, and thus equally evolved.

Are you referring to intangible or tangible contributions? I ask because I think that such concepts as Due Process (as mentioned by ss7) and Inherent Rights deserve to be mentioned.

Absolutely brilliant job by the soulman. Totally corrupted a simple, unrelated thread into a black vs. white battle. Do you think you can do it to, oh say, immaculate's camwhore thread? That would be a real coup. Go for it man! I know you got it in you. I'll be watching.

Einstein, period.

Photoelectric effect, special and general relativity, the development of quantum mechanics. These are the contributions that have led our society to be as technologically, medically and intellectually advanced as it is currently.

Edit: I would like to also mention the discovery of the structure of DNA in 1953 and the subsequent recent completion of the human genome project. All of the aforementioned ideas are already in the process of creating the next huge leap forward in our understanding of our reality.
