Well... Its inside a jar right now.

I am sure tastes like old, been cooked, and soaked brown Rice, with mushroom mycelia covering ever last bit of the brown rice.

Basicly I think It might be bruising, just like the mushrooms do. But I was waiting for a pros opinion.

if it is blue bruising it can indicate that the substrate is too dry - if its a contam, then its a contam.
i wouldnt worry about bruising- its natural.
