best tethering software app?
    #23379708 -

Does anyone here still pay for internet access or do you find tethering saves you the monthly bill just by tethering from your phone? Isn't it as fast as a DSL so it's good enough for some right? Can it get as fast as cable or is it only as fast as your phone service's data allow (3G, 4G, etc.)?

i use my phone to tether my tablet when away from home and also for my android head unit (radio) in my truck.  i don't use a tethering app, i flashed a rom to my phone that supports tethering.  you will only get speeds as fast as your phone can handle and most phone plans have a limited amount of data per month so if you are doing any kind of video watching or online gaming at the house expect to run out of data in the first week of every month.

I can flash/jtag/repair 360's, pm for details.
