OP is from Europe, my guess is Germany or France.

And yes, the police in America are armed all the time, it's a part of their Job to be armed, and if you ever lived in a city you would see hundreds of Armed "Guards" in any given day, including public places, parks, bus depots, train stations, everywhere.

OP committed a crime, the security guards legally can arrest him just as much as much as anybody has the right to put him under citizens arrest. Atleast if we are talking about America.

They were probably special train station police though. Security guards dont just hang out with assault rifles.

Yes I would pay it because it's not an option.
Cab fare is set by number of passengers and distance traveled.
Tip is a courtesy for good service.
One is a set rate and is required for service; the other is an option that is granted as a courtesy.

How is this so hard to understand?

I mean the world isn't so black and white. I'm not trolling either. That is what I would do if I felt it was necessary. Bad service = bad payout. Moral is, to give good service. Same with tipping, I won't tip people just because it's a normal thing to do, I'll only tip if they deserve it. If I get bad service I might not even leave the full amount left

Yeah, I would have totally made a bigger issue but I had ten minutes to catch my train and was not about to miss it arguing with a guy who probably barely graduated from high school and has a small penis. I am well aware that what I was trying to do was theft of service but IDGAF, I dare them to sue me or try to figure out who I am and prosecute me over $20.

And I was in PA, USA. And seriously, that cab driver was awesome. I actually tried to bribe her because she did such a great job, I wasn't about to pay the full price, but she wasn't having it. She didn't even make a big deal out of it but the guard overheard and decided it was his job to right every wrong of the world. Fucking Officer Little Dick, made a horrible experience into an intolerable one.

I'm pretty sure the people that said he had the right to stop me are right, its partly why I gave up immediately. That and I had a serious time issue

I've never come so close to just going fucking apeshit and destroying a random sign or punching out windows in my life, jesus fucking christ I'm still furious

Could have tipped her and not payed the other part. She probably wouldn't get in trouble. Could also formally complain, somthe retarded company can ignore you or assert that you made a mistake.

You tip people based on how good or bad the quality of the service was that you received. I think it's clear that the OP got terrible service. People who tip based on percentages and stupid math calculations are chumps.
