Weed will only make your schitzo worse dude IMO but what do I know try benzos instead fuck anything anti psychotic that's crap you got paranoia which could be plausible or not (never rule anything out) from smoking too much high grade. Benzos will calm your mind down without fucking it up like anti psychotics would...stick to indicas if the anxiety is getting to you.

Yeah isolated THC has been shown to cause unpleasant psychotic reactions.
Key word ISOLATED.
I think people who argue that cannabis causes schizophrenia fail to understand that.

Just because isolated thc gives psychotic reactions doesn't mean cannabis as a whole is bad or will make schizophrenia worse.

You dont have to have it just by itself man, lol. It definitely is well known to worsen psychotic symptoms, i've experienced it myself... It's not like you only need to have pure thc just to have negative symptoms

Well yea like i mentioned, i noticed strong sativas in high doses did give me anxiety/psychotic symptoms.
But i had the schizophrenia long before i started smoking weed and overall it's been extremely beneficial for me.
I don't get why you guys are trying to argue that with me.

i know you semi personally, you mentioned not having been checked out by a trained professional. Maybe you should take care of that first at least obtaining a diagnosis.

It still requires a medical diagnosis, and the onset is typically between 16-30... and only in rare cases does it affect children. Even with the link you provided, they mention the involvement of a medical health professional. If you think you are having symptoms, you should bring it up with a doctor either way.

Idk how many times i have to explain that cannabis dramatically reduced my hallucinations and eliminates my stress and how significant that is.

What you have not experienced is manic like symptoms and have high CBD weed completely eliminate it. Too bad CBD is like $50 a bottle while weed is like $3/g. I don't actually get manic but it's more like my mind won't shut off. Right now I'm thinking of staying up for 36 hours to reset my sleep schedule because it's fucked but if I had weed I could of just gone to bed early.

Man I could start my own CBD business and undercut the market...

Psychosis isnt just an unpleasant feeling, its your sense of reality becoming unhinged in a process which, if left unchecked, tends to last weeks, months, years.

So, loud and clear: If you have psychotic tendencies, the smoking of cannabis may result in triggering an episode of poor mental health that may persist for months or years, even if you quit smoking.

While CBD may be antipsychotic, THC triggers psychosis and in kinds of weed that get you high the ratio is always such that it can worsen a schizophrenic's condition.

Considering weed can cause an episode lasting months which may include loss of control and hospitalization -- why risk it?

Maybe it's about time the breeders stopped concentrating on just the high THC strains, and, concentrated a little more on breeding the lower THC higher CBD phenotypes, or, perhaps the GM crowd could get involved to speed up the process.

I know that cannabis helps a lot with the burning I get in my feet due to neuralgia, but, I don't want to be stoned all day to get some relief.
If a low THC, high CBD types could be developed, and the seeds sold, I'd grow them for myself.
I'd guess the anti-psychotic properties of a high CBD strain would also be more useful to the OP than the 'top shelf' material available in MMJ dispensaries, assuming he lives in a MMJ state?

Yea we got cbd pills, cbd creams, fucking cbd water, cbd strains like Charlotte's Web and Cannatonic. Thank god for mmj.

Cannabis works for me, clearly you guys don't understand that and that's fine.
I'm glad i found out about sarcosine and B vitamins for schizophrenia too, they've really been helping.

I'd end up braindead on dangerous antipsychotics if i listened to you guys.:lol:
