So for those who eat squirrels * 1

When you look around your city and see the squirrels, at first glance it seems like there's alot of squirrels.  But when push comes to shove, how long would they last if you had to live on nothing but squirrels for a year?

like i could eat all the squirrels in my backyard in a day i think, its so odd how few animals there are compared to how big our appetites are

so then i start to think about chicken farms, and the fact i could eat every single chicken in a farm in a year, so where does everyone else get their chickens from?  the math just doesn't add up:cookiemonster:  reality is just a computer program......

And considering a squirrel bucket would contain a lot more than 24 pieces (depending how thick we put the batter on), we probably wouldn't make it through the winter.

I am sure you cannot survive on squirrel alone because it lacks the necessary fats you need to live but.... eating the brain possibly helps. You would obviously eat the liver, heart, etc.
If push came to shove, you'd need to find a high fat food source like... fish?

Otherwise, if you had a fat source, yeah, you alone and probably a family could survive on squirrels. Would be plenty in the wilderness to survive a year.

No way you'd empty out a large farm within a year!

You eat like one, maybe two whole chickens in a day, thats in the area of 700 chickens. Big farms have thousands upon thousands of chickens. And they grow new ones all the time. In 6 months you have an adult chicken

I think the math is pretty solid

365 days a year x 2 chickens = 730 or some shit a year which is almost a thousand chickens a year right, so 1 person can eat a medium size chicken farm a year, where the fuck are the other 300million people getting their chickens????????

squirrels are good eats, but lack much meat .. need a few in a skillet and the meat just falls off ..

guinea pigs are something I thought of raising for food...

It's not on the regular, but I have most certainly eaten squirrel.  It's just like chicken with the slightest hint of game taste.  Only bummer is the majority of meat is only the rear legs.

It's not that uncommon on this side of the Atlantic. Not a regular food by any means, but not uncommon. You guys in Britain would too if you didn't have hundreds upon hundreds of years of anti-hunting laws in your blood. :lol:
