Miyazaki in general is amazing. Just watched Nausicca for the first time and wow. Just ungodly good. It's amazing how human like and caring all of Miyazaki characters are. They make me feel all tender and stuff on the inside. Good feels.

Western Culture has its perks too. I think music here is better. Lifestyle subcultures are cool too.

But anything animated is 1000 times better when done on that side of the world. Especially anything Miyazaki.

Oh yeah I appreciate a ton of western music/ art, don't get me wrong. I just think we have terrible morals as a culture compared to many other places.

Not always but in many cases I feel its true. Also we are less up front about emotions and other things IMO.

Oh yeah. I can totally understand that point of view. Western culture in general seems less connected to one another and the Earth. Rather, Western culture is all about individualization.

I don't know I didn't research it much, all I remember is one of the two original animation companies bought out the other one or something so they have the rights to make new FLCL material. It could mean a modern remake using current animation tech and or brand new stuff based on the original. Either way I am excited to see how it turns out :shrug:
