I'm starting to believe in magic
    #22861880 -

I haven't taken mushrooms in a good couple months, so I don't think it's that.

But this winter is a fucking TRIP. I won't go into details really because I'll sound totally nuts but I've had many many experiences that make me 100% without a doubt believe in magic.

I don't think I'm going crazy, I don't hear voices or anything. I've been approached by maybe 20 "psychics" randomly in the span of 2 months and each gave me a fucking spot on reading. One is now my weed dealer.

The synchronicities are OUT OF CONTROL like you you wouldn't believe. And the craziest part is it's totally personal I can't open up about it to anyone.

But I think I can heal people. Dude this is crazy shit and I need to let it out I can't keep it bottled up.

Like I said, I don't think this shit is me going crazy because it's only done nothing but good love and light for everyone I've shared this with including myself.

And I'm not seeking any of this out.

What is "magic"?

Is it a label we give something when naturalistic explanations fail us?

I reject such a notion.

Anything that can be observed occurs within the confines of the natural. If anything magic was truly observed, it then becomes reasonable to conclude it is decidedly a mundane phenomenon.

Therefore, belief in magic comes from the presupposition of the supernatural, the unobservable..

I'm sorry, am I in Philosophy?

I think the world and us are magical. That's not an attitude towards it or a cliche state of wishful thinking, I mean it literally. Things I've noticed:

- transformation of the appearance of the eyes at will

- synchronization of the weather and of subjective state

- spontaneous and phenomenal regeneration of injuries, especially internal injuries (including brain)

- synchronization of the "nature", "depth of field" and "palette" of the perceptual field with subjective state

More or less, we are in some kind of magical paradise. It seems to have levels, and ways of obscuring itself.

It also seems the sheer majority of us are disconnected from this construct and I don't know how or why, perhaps the world is a setup and challenges and rewards thinkers, and leaves the timid to revel in the mundane.

By magic, I mean God (or your interpretation), spirituality, weird occurrences and coincidents that are CRAZY.  I know some of you have experienced this stuff.

Synchronicities are the miracles of everyday life. Jesus cursed the fig tree and later the tree was withered (but from references, it was not the time of year to have been producing fruit). Nevertheless, miracles can be seen as Synchronicity, orchestrated by "The Way" (the name for both Tao and what the early Christians referred to their movement before they were called Christians).

Care to elaborate on that one? I have a health issue that has plagued me for 2 years. It is very rare and strange chronic condition. I keep believing I have the power to heal, but I don't know where that power is atm. I have been lost for a while now. A prisoner in my own body, if you will...

Spontaneous remissions are a thing I have searched multiple times..

Agree. It also has the capability to engender any number of states of suffering, even though all of these are transitory and delusional. It also has keys to open its full magical potential.

This just sounds like the divide between expectation and reality.

Now, I wouldn't argue that consciousness or expectation has no effect on the surrounding reality, but I don't think these sorts of coincidences evidence anything beyond what can be expected naturally, barring our human failures of imagination.

In other words, magic is all natural man.

I really love that

When as a little kid I had that sense, though school was an absolute nightmare, you wake up INTO. But when a bit older 8/9 to 15 I lost this sense of magical wonder of nature---was cast out, due to the cultural mindcontrol, and nature seened dull and boring and I was rather obsessed with big cities and technology. And it was being turned onto LSD when 15 which reversed that toxic shit and nature was magic again.
NOW I see very very very clearly that what was happening to me in those few pre-turned on years is happening faster and faster to more and more all around. People obsessed with big cities, and their flashy hand held computer gadgets etc. I have seen people in magical places, all alive with wonder totally immersing all their attention in their little device. And people with ear plugs in cutting themselves off from the sounds of the air, leaves, wildlife, their own imaginings

So this is a big reason I am so interested in exploring techniques of mindcontrol that keep people trapped in a technofascist consumerist-matrix
AND guess what. Soon after the 9/11 false flag I was to discover that the people behind it are well into the occult and magick TOO (spelt with a k because their prophet is Aleister Crowley and the story is he spelt it that way to differentiate it from 'stage magic' but also be aware K is the 11th letter), and OBSESSED with numbers (numerology and gematria) are very much a part of their magick which is also very evil. MANY 11s can be detected to do with that day, and even the date involves 11. The 11th day, for example, and the often repeated media signifier for the day is '9/11' when when the digits are added give 11:

Quote:
"Firstly", 11 is the number of Magick in itself. It is therefore suitable to all types of operation.  "Secondly", it is the sacred number par excellence of the new Aeon.  As it is written in the Book of the Law: ...11, as all their numbers who are of us."[4](Crowley, Aleister Magick: in Theory and Practice. Secaucus, NJ: Castle, 1991. 64. Print.)

Am I trying to turn this thread about magic into a thread about 9/11? No. But I personally feel that this should be mentioned because to not do so we are left with the big elephant in the room (B I G) and so real exploration of the subject can only remain superficial if it is not made aware of. because what is being even meant by 'magic'?

Has a more organic earth friendly, other people, other species friendly magical sense been suppressed by these other occutlists who use their magick to torture and sacrifice others in the most horrific ways for power? we HAVE to face this to ask these questions!

Like you said above, MY feeling of magic is that the natural world is magical, but these people seem to hate the natural, and wont even allow the magic mushrooms to be freely picked and eat by lovers of them for their magical experience of nature!!!

I know exactly what you're talking about. My illnesses have been mainly emotional/mental which manifested in physical ways but that doesn't mean they didn't cripple me for YEARS.

Spontaneous re-generation is a REAL thing.  (a re-birth almost.)

And knowing that 11 is the number of magic is something that I've DEFINITELY experienced.

It's so hard for me to put any of this into words.  It's even harder to talk about than a straight-up mushroom trip.

11.11, 111, 333, and 9 all have a lot of significance to me.

Magic certainly is "all natural)!!

I personally am averse to all the numbers stuff. I see all that as compulsive obsession, REAL magic for me is serpentine. it is not based on will and tight number patterns and the magician's ego etc. it is spontaneous, joyful, ecstatic, erotic. it certainly is not about getting kicks out of feeling superior to others, other species, nature, and sadism

I see all that as magick based on solar phallicism. A patriarchal occult system which suppressed Goddess mythology and natural magic

Exactly!!  I agree 2000% But there are certain occurrences that have been happening to me that I can't ignore and would be a fool to do so.

I'm not into "numerology" and I don't use numbers as a method of divination.  I do think that just like animals spirit can use numbers to communicate (if you've had this happen you know that there is no possible way it can be ignored) and in this modern society of numbers and logic, it's probably the easiest way for them to communicate.

I don't think numbers themselves have powers but I do believe in conditioning yourself to know what's up when you see them.  Like a Pavlov response.

And like I said, magic is an extremely personal thing to me.  You can use magic to help others by doing it in a way that they never know.  That to me is admirable and it is not a magical dick measuring contest.

Plus I'm new to all this and I do believe that I'm learning to become a healer.

I think if you just love and serve and always do what you know to be the right thing, magic won't backfire like it has for so many people.

Although, I do agree with you in a general sense, it's important to keep in mind that people are capable of doing things of questionable integrity with the best of intentions.

Humans are silly.

I am very into magicians that are being seen on TV. My fave is a guy from same -ish part of country i am from called Dynamo.
When you see some of the things he and other magicians do you just cannot see HOW they done it so it is easy to think/ shit, that IS magic!!!'. Now, I have seen several tricks explained and you think 'ohh maaan how couldn't I see that?'. And in a way it is like explaining a joke, it takes the magic out of it. So I am kjinda content to have this agnostic suspended belief that 'hmmm MAYBE some of this IS magic' lol.

I watched this long video very recently done by christians claiming that Dynamo and all these other famous magicians like Criss Angel etc etc have actually sold their souls to demons and/or the 'Devil' so as to perform this 'real magic' and gain fame and lots of money. And the video shows promotional posters of magicians old and now of magicians who have their image surrounded by little red demons, and usually one whispering in their ear. IE the magicians also like to encourage this perspective. So the paranoid christians are unknowingly part of their PR lol

In this video the judgemental-sounding narrator keeps on saying that the Genesis myth of the forbidden fruit MEANT exactly this---the sin of humans becoming gods and doing magic for fame and fortune

In several of Dynamo's videos you see him go up to people in the street and ask them to shake hands, or he puts his hands near theirs, and they pull away saying that the heat  from his hand/s is as hot as a kettle. In other tricks Dynamo seems to actually have smoke coming out of his palms and other seems to actually cause concrete paving stones and glass form a mould of his hands! As if his hands had become so hot they melted the hard material. In others he seems to create ice out of thin air or just touching a fountain.

The video supports this with a quite from Manley P Hall
Quote:
“When the Mason learns that the key to the warrior on the block is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the mystery of his Craft. The seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands, and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly apply energy.”
-MANLY P. HALL in THE LOST KEYS OF FREEMASONRY

Now, the christian has already made his mind up. They are evil, have sold their soul to the devil and this means they will go to hell for ever and ever

But am hoping that the more intelligent of us can explore this sht and wonder wtf is going on...?
