Lost and Found Sigil

I don't know the desire it represents anymore, which is awesome. I found it in my glove box while cleaning out my car today, surprised to realize that I created this sigil last summer along with a couple of others. Somehow this is the only one remaining. I must've intentfully put it away in order to forget its meaning.

So how would I best go about activating it? I've read Grant Morrison's take on it, so I know most of the basic procedure. I just want to get a few Shroomerite tips before getting to action.  :zoom:

ha ha i found a mask wtih a sigel in it. The thing about em is its not what it exactly looks like as much as it is what the function is and the thought put into it you can do free form sigels. but personally i think thats just for if you dont have enough will to just straight cast stuff. I.E. my friends party mask he made makes you trip when you wear it. no sigels that i know of just all the stored vibes and his intents of the thing.

Never underestimate the power of a sigil, just be certain to not expect anything.  Expectation leads to the deformity of intent.  All the proper forms of activation discussed above^.  A little blood might also help.

A sigil is a symbol used as a catalyst to bring together a myriad of forces(energy) and concentrate them into conforming to one's intent. It is usually comprised of characters or symbols(of whatever language fitting) arranged in an abstract way. The charging of a sigil must be one in which a vast amount of energy is expended in order to impact upon the unconscious and set the forces into motion.
A talisman is really much the same thing, but the definition is expanded to encompass things other than simple characters and such(the native american dream-catcher is an example of a talisman). The key is in the energy expended and seperates the sigil/talisman from the lamen, seal, etc. For example, the flag of a nation may be considered a seal as it represents a fixed notion or set of beliefs. The lamen of Christianity may be something like Jesus upon the cross. However, to act upon something, a sigil must be used as it is psychoactive as opposed to psychostatic.

i would say its unnecessary to fuck around with all the crazy charging shit. its all an act to get your will to function correctly, it may take longer to get functional, but being able to skip all the mumbo jumbo has alot of positives.

in my limited experience the best technique is one you've already done successfully: forgetting.

i don't really no how to describe it, but by using forgetting you can circumnavigate all the ego barriers and contradictory wills.


best example i can come up with is paint a picture and throw it on the ground and walk away from it. if the picture is pretty enough, one day you will see your picture in the eyes of someone who found it and shared it with other people.

yeah my metaphor sucks, also i'm still not a millionaire so probably my advice isn't worth the pixels its printed on.

I like the idea of forgetting. To charge it now, copy it on to another piece of paper, wank on it, forget about it and let it
do it's work.(just a suggestion)

I charged it last week then went outside and burned the sigil and tossed the ashes into the wind.

So that's that. I wonder though just how I am going to recognize any results of my forgotten intention.. Perhaps I will gradually remember the details as my reality forms itself out of existence into experience. I shall see. As for now, it's gone with the wind. :yinyang:
