Yeah I was playing black ops 3 the other day and all you do is sprint around and unload rounds everywhere. Everyone usually ends up in the middle of a tiny ass map and its just a matter of seeing somebody before they see you. Absolutely no strategy involved whatsoever. And my brother wonders why I think its boring as fuck. Add in the wall running, thrusting, and power sliding and that shit is just straight up trash.

i rock with the choppers on bf3/4 on the PS.

but like when it comes to shooting people with guns, no one with a controller could touch a huge noob on a mouse.

joysticks suck for trying to dome a moving target

a mouse you just set sensitivity to .7 turn mouse acceleration off and you can lock onto domes.

I can get pretty nerdy/serious when it comes to FPS. FPS is my main genre of gaming. Ever since split screen Goldeneye. My first online FPS was MOH:AA (I still have the discs as well) and I loved that game. I'd stay up 24 hours straight just zoning out on it. At the time it was as unique and revolutionary to gaming (at least for me) as Goldeneye was when it first came out (and me and my brother would sit up for 24 hours playing until the stupid n64 controller left blisters on our thumbs).

Yeah and the great thing about BF is well, where the fuck are you? I can appreciate what it's going for but it's too much for someone who just wants to play a game or two. They are very much the same but different enough that I've noticed people like one or the other.

There is a reason I said MW1 and 2. In 2 they started doing that shit, and in 3 they were all about it. Come on now, MW was the shit. Crash? The market one, or that other one that was a hill, 2 big ass buildings and tunnels underneath. Or that other one that was the little back country town that got air raided. It had a barn and stuff. That's pretty open.

All the same though there were always options and a lot of the time they were worth exploring. The more people move around, the more those choke points are worthless. Campers can make any game really shitty.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned CoD burned alive like a decade ago. As far as FPS goes I just play Destiny these days and even that's not very often. Still kick enough ass though that I know I could pick up any of my old games and be just as annoying. Halo 2-3 were probably my best games.

man ok halo 1 for the pc was alright because you could just run around with the pistol and double tap domes over and over and own. that was fun.

but then they nerfed the pistol in 2 and it went back to sucking all the way.
